    • PURPOSE:To detect the disconnection of the resistance wire of heat generation for nonfogging glass efficiently and securely, by detecting the position where the resistance wire of heat generation is set, and detecting synchronistically the electromagnetic energy produced by the resistance wire. CONSTITUTION:The nonfogging glass G transported by the belt 3 is set by the position fixing tools 4, 4a, 5, and 5a in such a way that the individual electrically- conductive filamnets (resistance wire of heat generation) 1 furnished to the glass G are placed under the barrier bars 16 respectively. While the detecting main body 7 is trnsferred by the rail 15, the electrode bars 6 and 6a are brought into contact with the individual filaments 1 successively and alternating current is applied to them. The position of the filaments 1 are detected by using the position detecting device 11 through the barrier bars 16, and only when the device 11 passes above the filaments 1, the electromagnetic energy of the filaments 1 is detected by the sensor 10 attached to the detecting main body 7 and its number is counted. The prepared number (n) is then compared with the number N of the resistance wire furnished to this Glass G, and, if (n) is not equal to N, the decision that there is disconnection (defective) is given.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately detect glass breakage by providing glass with a receiving or transmitting antenna, and when the gain of the antenna is dropped, generating an alarm. CONSTITUTION:A linear antenna 2 with 0.5mm diameter is formed like a loop on the peripheral part of the glass 1 by printing and baking conductive paste. One end of the antenna 2 is connected to a receiving circuit 4 through a demultiplexer 3 for efficiently extracting plural frequency waves, and when the drop of the gain of the antenna 2 is detected by a detecting circuit 5 such as a field intensity measuring instrument, an alarm is generated by an alarm circuit 6 or the like. If the glass 1 is broken by robbery or the like, the receiving gain of the glass antenna 2 is dropped, a signal is outputted from the circuit 5 and an alarm is generated from the circuit 6. Even if a resistance value is changed due to the adhesion of water, dirt or the like, sensitivity for detecting glass breakage is not changed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble of the conventional known means that rapid detecting of the wrapping and building up of glass around rolls and the dealing therewith are not possible with the conventional means. SOLUTION: This device detects the wrapping of a glass band on the upper forming roll at the time of forming the glass band 4 by passing fused glass 1 between the upper and lower forming rolls 2 and 3. In such a case, a light projector 8 is arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction of the upper forming roll in order to arrange the optical path of a light beam running in the transverse direction of the glass blank in a downstream region right after drawing out of the upper forming roll and slightly above the glass blank and a photodetector 9 is arranged on the other side. The light beam is shut off or the photodetecting quantity is changed by the occurrence of the wrapping of the glass band on the upper forming roll 2 or the build-up 7 of the glass band thereon, by which the abnormality is detected and a detection signal is obtd. to trigger an alarm.

    • PURPOSE:To highly sensitively detect the breakage of a large number of sheets of glass without increasing quantity of wiring by switching successively the both-end voltage of plural resistors connected to a constant-current power circuit in parallel to detect the both-end voltages. CONSTITUTION:To the constant-current power circuit 4, n-pieces of the resitors 2-1 to 2-n are connected in parallel through n-pieces of the switches S1 to Sn of a multiplexer, etc., to be switched ON/OFF automatically by turns. Since a constant current flows in every one piece of the resistors 2-1 to 2-n for prescribed time, and voltage change at that time is detected by one set of a detection circuit 6, resistance is reduced by 1/n compared with a case where n-pieces of this resistor are connected in series, and a current value is increased by n-times. Thus, detecting sensitivity can be raised, and simultaneously, the quantity of wiring can be reduced.
