摘要： PURPOSE:To attain a cheaper printer capable of performing precise printing with simplified structure by a construction wherein rotation of a motor is transmitted to a font drum via a spring clutch. CONSTITUTION:A pinion gear 25 is fixed to the distal end of an output shaft of a motor 13 and a gear 26 is in mesh with the pinion gear 25. One end of a coil spring 29 is fixed to the side of the gear 26, while a hook portion 29a at the other end thereof is engaged with a tubular member 28. Thus, when rotating force is transmitted in such a direction that the spring 29 is wound round a shaft portion of the gear 26, the gear 26 transmits the rotating force of the motor 13 to the font drum via the pinion gear 25 and the tubular member 28. By so doing, the motor 13 is continuously rotated even when the drum is stopped, thus eliminating a need of rotating the motor itermittently each when the drum is subject to intermittent rotation. As a result, it becomes possible to adopt brush type micromotors of cheaper cost.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent dirty printing even though a typing wheel is miniaturized in the typing wheel of the compact printer wherein the printing is performed with the types being protruded, by arranging elastic ring bodies between the inner surface of a cylindrical base plate and the edge part of the type. CONSTITUTION:When a force is applied to a protruded part 5d by a hammer 4, a type body 5 is moved, and the printing is performed. Since the types 5 and 5' are not linked, the neighboring type 5' is not affected, and the dirty printing is not caused by the neighboring type 5'. Since the ring bodies L which are inserted between the protruding end part of 5d and the inner surface of the base plate 2 is made of an elastic body, they are compressed at the time of printing, and the type body is returned to the original position by the restoring force at the end of printing. Even though applying ink is infiltrated between a seat part 5b and the base plate 2, tacky adhesion is hard to occur since the contact area between the seat part 5b and the base plate is small.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the dirty printing even though the pitches between the columns of the types and between the rows of the types are made small, in the printer wherein the printing is performed with the types on the type belt being protruded, by forming the type belt by a type seat and a fixing belt. CONSTITUTION:When the force of a hammer 4 is applied to a protruded part 5c of the type, the type 5 is moved. Since the type seat 9 is separated in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical base plate, the neighboring type 5' is not subjected to any effect and does not move even though the space between the types 5 and 5' is small. Namely, even though, the circumferential pitch is made small, the dirty typing in the circumferential direction is not caused. Even though applying ink is infiltrated into the space between the seat 9 and the base plate 2, they are readily separated since the contact area is small and they are independently mounted. Furthermore, when the specified type 5 is protruded, the movement of the belt part 8 is suppressed and the movement of the type 5 does not affect the type 5' since the fixing belt 10 is arranged on the upper side of the belt part 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent dirty printing, in the type wheel of the compact printer wherein a type belt is wound around a cylindrical base plate, by providing gaps between the type seat parts of the type belt and the belt part. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical base plate 2 has a plurality of holes 2a, and a protruded part 5c of the type is inserted in each hole. The belt 3 is made of an elastic member, e.g. silicon rubber and the like so as to form a unitary body. The gaps L are provided between the type seats 5b and the belt part 8. When a force is applied to the protruded part 5c by a hammer 4, the type is moved upward. But the neighboring type 5' is hard to move upward because the belt part 8 has a long structure owing to the gap L and the belt part 8 is readily stretched. Therefore, the neighboring type 5' is not transferred when the specified type 5 is printed, and the dirty printing does not occur.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate smudges of printing between digits and between lines and drive a print hammer with a small force by providing a thinly formed portion in the form of lattice between digits and between lines of types of a type belt. CONSTITUTION:Plural type units 1a, type base units 1b and protruded portions 1c are formed on the plane belt portion 1d of a fixed thickness t of a type belt, and base units 1b between lines and between digits are connected together with belt portions 1e, 1f of thin thickness t1, t2 which are curved toward the side of the type units 1a, and each base unit 1b is surrounded in the form of lattice by the belt portion 1e in the direction of line and the belt portion 1f in the direction of digit. By this arrangement, when the base unit 1b is caused to protrude by the protruded portion 1c which is struck by a hammer, the belt portions 1e, if expand to absorb the tension of rubber material, therefore the influence of the base unit 1b is not affected to other adjoining base units.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a type part on a belt to move more rapidly in response to an internal impact and contrive to print more correctly by a construction wherein a close contact between a type belt and a base is prevented by a mechanical means, such as by providing projections on the type belt. CONSTITUTION:The type belt 1 is provided with projections 1c so as to reduce the contact surface area of the type belt 1 and the base 2, generating a clearance between the belt 1 and the base 2 and alleviating the closely contacted condition. The same effect can be achieved also by providing stepped parts 2b on the base 2 at predetermined intervals by integral molding. The type parts may be made of silicon rubber, nitrile rubber or the like. In particular, when the type members are made of a silicon rubber, the spreading of an ink on the type face can be enhanced by roughening the surface thereof by a mechanical or chemical treatment or other treatment such as corona discharge.

CONSTITUTION:A base 6 has its circumference divided into 28 equal sections, and on about a half of the circumference purple color printing types are arranged, and on the rest of the circumference red color printing types are arranged. Because, when a stop lever 58 engages the claw 6b of the base 6, the other stop lever 59 is arranged to be positioned at the middle point in one pitch of the claw 6d of the base 6, it is possible to stop the base 6 at an arbitrary position on the equal divisions in front of a hammer 6. Therefore, there is no division of priority advance for solenoids to actuate the stop levers 58 and 59, and, furthermore, the pitch of the claw 6d can be set up wider than in the case of one solenoid, and the levers can be operated faster and more surely.

The type parts 7 is made of a material which enables easy spreading of ink, e.g., NBR. On the other hand, the belt part 8 is made of a material which is hardly adhered to a base 1 and is less receptive to the ink, e.g. silicon rubber, so that the belt part 8 is not adhered to the base 1 even when the ink penetrates between the part 8 and the base.
