The suction fan 19 works by being changed over to a first suction mode to work after the sheets drop on the copy tray and to a second suction mode to work after extraction by the suction belt 14. Consequently, it is possible to prevent damage of the sheets to be discharged without dropping processing speed of a sheet carrier device.
