摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a support for a pneumatic tire by which the structures of a die and a vulcanizing machine can be made simpler than a conventional method. SOLUTION: The support section 18 made of a metal is constituted of three parts, a central section 30 and external sections 32 on both sides of the central section 30, and a leg section 20 made of a rubber is vulcanize-molded in a manner to be integrated with the external sections 32 which are parts for constituting the support section 18. Also, the central section 30 and the external sections 32 are connected by welding or the like. Therefore, the die for vulcanize-molding the leg section 20 can be made smaller than the conventional method. In addition, the right and left leg sections 20 can be vulcanize-molded by one die, and therefore, the structure of the die can be made simpler than the conventional method. SOLUTION: A pair of supporting part members 30, 32 constitute a supporting part 18 having a flat portion 18A in contact with a tire inner face 14A during run flat travelling. Leg parts 20 of elastomer are integrally formed on rim side ends 18D of tire-cross-direction outside portions of the supporting part members. The pair of supporting part members are joined to each other at the end of the flat portion. Thus, the mold for vulcanizing and molding the leg parts 20 is made smaller than conventional one and still the right and left leg parts 20 are vulcanized and molded with one mold, achieving easier construction of the mold than conventional one.

CONSTITUTION:A plate in iron or the like, on which the flame coating layer of metal and/or ceramics is formed, is fixed to the face contacting with the brake shoe, of a rim consisting of stainless or the like. Al, Ti, etc., or an alloy thereof is used as such a flaming metal, and oxide, nitride, carbide, borax, etc., of these metals are used as ceramics. Furthermore, the flame coating layer is formed into a matte texture and a corrosion inhibitor such as an organic rust preventive is applied to the top face thereof. This constitution can prevent the reduction in coefficient of friction even in the case of water being attached thereto in rainy weather and so on, thus improving the braking performance of the rim.

CONSTITUTION:The end of the oblique pipe 2 is pressed by the lower die with the hole profiling the side face of the pipe 1 and the upper profiling die with the punch for expanding the inside hole, by which the end of the pipe is subjected simultaneously to expanding, flaring and curving. The profile-worked surface parts 2a-2c are pressed to the side face of the pipe 1 and are subjected to resistance welding. The surfaces 2a-2c are uniformly welded to the side face of the pipe 1. The oblique pipe is formed in extremely short time without consumable parts and the productivity is improved.
