    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attaching/detaching work of a rear wheel and to eliminate the necessity of brake readjustment after loading by supporting the axle of a rear wheel in the frame rear part of a bicycle in cantilever so as to be freely rotated in one end side, and fixing the hub of the rear wheel in the other end side of the axle so as to be detached in an axial direction. SOLUTION: A drive shaft 2 is fixed in the hollow part of a rear part stay 1 so as to be rotated, a pair of bevel gears are provided in the ends of the front and rear sides of the drive shaft 2, and the rotational force of a crank is transmitted to the axle 3 of the rear wheel 4 of a frame rear part 1 by the drive shaft 2. The axle 3 penetrates a cap plate 12 in the frame rear part 1, and supported in cantilever so as to be freely rotated in one end thereof. The hub 41 of the rear wheel 4 is fixed to the other end side of the axle 3 so as to be detached along an axial direction. The axle 3 is composed of main spindle 31 and a sleeve 32 connected therewith by a spline, and a wheel assembly 4 is fitted around the sleeve 32 of the axle 3 through a through-hole so as to be detached.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble such as seizure and abnormal abrasion by forming an outward annular projection on the outer periphery of a cylinder made of synthetic resin, using this projection as a fitting surface with a housing, forming an inward annular projection which is not superposed with the projection region of the outward annular projection, on the inner periphery of the cylinder and using this projection as the sliding surface for a shaft, and forming a thin connection part between both the annular projections. CONSTITUTION:Two stripes of outward annular projections 3 and 3 are formed at the edge part of the outer peripheral surface 2 of a cylinder 1 made of oil-containing polyacetal, and the outer peripheral surface is formed to a fitting surface with a housing 4. An inward annular projection 7 having the narrower width than the width of the bottom surfaces of two outward annular projections 3 and 3 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 1, and the inner peripheral surface is formed to a bearing surface. Since the outward annular projection 3 and the inward annular projection 7 are designed so that the projection regions are not superposed, thickness is stolen from both sides in the outward and inward directions at the connection part 9 of both the projections, and this part is made thinner than other parts. A buffer action is developed by the deflection of this thin connection part 9, and the degree of deflection is set according to the thickness of the connection part 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of the rigidity and to improve the appearance by mounting a folding rotary shaft concentrically with a truss-shaped reinforcement member. SOLUTION: In a folding rotary shaft part, a folding rotary shaft 10 is installed concentrically with a pipe-shaped reinforcement member 12, and this reinforcement member 12 is connected with the hinge lugs 2A of the upper and lower front pipes 2F, 3F of a forward front frame F1. The hinge lugs 2B of the upper and lower rear pipes 2R, 3R are respectively rotatably connected with the hinge lugs 2A of the upper and lower front pipes 2F, 3F by the upper and lower shoulder bolts forming the folding rotary shaft 10. Whereby the folding rotary shaft and the folding lock mechanism can be arranged concentrically with a truss-shaped reinforcement member forming the frame, the lowering of the rigidity of the frame in a holding part caused by the torsion of the front frame in the vertical and lateral directions can be prevented, and the appearance can be remarkably improved.
