    • PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature of main steam from lowering, and to set a turbine side steam condition to an optimum value in restarting the unit by operating a turbine bypass valve adapted at the outlet part of a boiler and a superheater bypass valve adapted at the intermediate part of a superheater for the boiler in conjunction with each other. CONSTITUTION:The streams of boiler water and steam in the state of a plant operation prior to the generation of a first cutback (FCB) and feed water passing through a boiler water feed pump 61 and a high-pressure feed water heater 62 are fed into a boiler 63. The fluids passing through the boiler 63 are converted into superheated steam by superheaters 67, 68 and 69 to be sent to a turbine 73. According to the FCB generation, a turbine regulating value 75 is operated to be rapidly chocked up to a house independent load. On the boiler side, the quantities of water and fuel to be fed to the boiler are adjusted so as to be well balanced with a turbine load, while excessive steam in the boiler is released by the opening operation of a solenoid type escape valve 72, a turbine bypass valve 71 and a superheater bypass valve 70 to prevent the abnormal increase of a boiler pressure. In order to provide for the restarting of a unit, the boiler pressure is made to drop by about 140 kg/cm g. The boiler pressure is dropped by means of the superheater bypass valve 70 adapted at the intermediate part of the superheater, and after the pressure is once dropped, the boiler pressure is controlled by switching over the superheater bypass valve 70 to the turbine bypass valve 71.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a quantity of a high level CO produced at the vicinity of a side wall and at a corner part, by a method wherein small auxiliary OA ports are formed, being positioned closer to a side wall than an outermost burner row, and OA ports in a combustion mechanism take the form of a turnable circular type. CONSTITUTION:Small auxiliary OA ports 24, being different in a swhirling direction from that of other OA ports 23, are formed in parallel at two corners in the vicinity of the side wall of a furnace. Namely, a clockwise swirling stream is produced in an air current at a burner part and an air current in conventional OA ports so that the air currents bend leftwardly, and meanwhile a counterclockwise swirling stream is produced in the air stream at the auxiliary port so that it bends rightwardly. This enables to promote the supply of the air to the vicinity of a side wall and corner parts where a high level CO is present and to reduce a quantity of CO produced.

When the fuel leaks from the connecting portion 4, the leaked fuel is induced into the gas detector 8 through the suction pipe 7, and if a density of gas of the fuel is exceeded over a preset value, the alarm device 9 is operated and also the fuel valve 11 is closed by the control device 10.
