    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the generation of a self-oscillation in spite of the long-term use by providing a pivot in such a way that it is transferable to the fine powder discharging side of crushing rollers in a device designed for finly crushing a feedstock by the interlocked operation of the crushing rollers and a rotary table of a nearly disc shape. SOLUTION: This roller mill is equipped with a rotary table of an almost disc shape and plural tire-shaped crushing rollers 1. In addition, roller pivots 3 which work as fulcrums for the pendulum action of the crushing rollers 1, are provided on the top of a roller bracket 2 installed on the crushing rollers 1. In this case, to make it possible to support the crushing rollers 1 substantially in a toe-in state by moving the positions of the roller pivots 3 to the fine powder producing side, the roller pivots 3, held from the right/left using plural pivot spacers 21 of a semidisc shape, are mounted in an upper and a lower pivot blocks 4a, 4b. Thus, the positions of the roller pivots 3 are changed by selecting the number of pivot spacers 21.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent self-exciting vibration of a roller mill by constituting at least one of a pulverizing roller and a pulverizing ring of plural segments, and differentiating pressing contact lines from each other every segment. CONSTITUTION: Pulverizing rollers 4 are rolled on a compressed powder bed on a pulverizing race 17 of a pulverizing ring 5. In this case, the pulverizing roller 4 is constituted of plural segments 21a, and in any segment 21a, a pressing contact line 20a is inclined against a conventional pressing contact line. And the inclined angles of pressing contact lines 20a are differentiated from each other every roller segment 21a. A pressing contact start point and a pressing contact finish point shown as both the ends of the pressing contact line 20a do not coincide with each other. Therefore, by mutual cancel action of plural pulverizing rollers, the generation of severe self-exciting vibration in which a roller mill is synchronously moved is damped to restrain it to a level of faint forced vibration.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the stoppage of the coal feed system with a solid fuel (feed coal) due to the reverse flow of steam, to make the continuous production of a CWM slurry possible, and to improve the reliability of the equipment. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent the reverse flow of steam during the stop of a mill 6, an automatic opening and shutting gate 12 is interlocked with the state of running of the mill 6, and the gate 12 shuts when the mill 6 is stopped to thereby shut out the steam generated by the heat of grinding of the feed coal, which has been a defect of a wet mill, and to prevent a chute 15 from being stopped with the feed stock solidified with the steam. Further, a feed water branch pipe 13 through which feed water is introduced into the upstream of the gate 12 having the possibility of stoppage during the running of the mill 6. An opening and shutting valve 16 which opens during the running of the mill 6 and shuts during the stop of the mill 6 is provided so as to utilize the feed water which inherently needs to be always supplied to the mill 6 during its running as washing water for the prevention of the stoppage of the chute 15 simultaneously with the start of the running of the mill 6.

CONSTITUTION:In a vertical mill, by raising the lower end of an adjusting cylinder 15 above the upper end of a rotary blade 14, a part of particles circulating within the mill is discharged to the outside from a discharge pipe through the gap between the lower end of the adjusting cylinder 15 and the upper end of the rotary blade 14 even when the particles are rougher than the classification point in a classifier 13. The particles circulating within the mill are ground until they become finer particles because the classification point in the classifier becomes small by raising the number of rotations of the classifier 13. By this constitution, powdered coal with wide particle size distribution containing fine particles can be produced and stable combustion is achieved at the time of the min. load of a boiler or even in a boiler using coal inferior to combustion properties.

    • PURPOSE:To gasify a carbon raw material at a high gasification ratio by feeding the raw material and an oxidizing agent to a gasifying furnace at a specific temperature, branching the oxidizing agent from the same controlling means to the first burner group and the second burner and refeeding the scattered unburned material. CONSTITUTION:A fine particulate solid raw material and an oxidizing agent such as oxygen or air are fed into a gasifying chamber 65 kept above the melting temperature of ash produced from the fine particulate raw material. Combustible materials in the raw material are converted into a gas and the ash is converted into slag. In the process, burners having different amounts of the distributed oxidizing agent are provided in plural stages and a large amount of the oxidizing agent is distributed into coal burners 62 as the first burner group. A char burner 104 as the second burner arranged on the same plane as that of the first burner group is installed to collect the unburned materials in the gas produced in the gasifying chamber 65 in the cyclone 70, passed from a char feed hopper 90 through a feeder 100 and, together with the oxidizing agent, fed to the char burner 103. The oxidizing agent is fed to each coal burner 62 and the char burner 104 with a control valve 111 to gasify the raw material and fed unburned materials at a high gasifying ratio.
