    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device for obtaining a bulky fluorine-containing polymer by performing the operations to achieve a desired amount of a residual volatile component under a thermal stable evaporating condition in batch-wise way or continuously and draining directly or with other methods from a container after evaporating the component to a receiver, and to provide a recovery method.
      SOLUTION: In the method for recovering the polymer from a fluorine- containing polymer solution, the component is heated at a temperature equal to or higher than a lowest temperature which the solution is subjected to a phase separation, equal to or higher than a boiling point and equal to or lower than a decomposition point of the component to remove by evaporating and the resulting bulky polymer is melted and drained to the receiver.

    • PURPOSE: To easily obtain a high-molecular polyether contg. little salt by adjusting the pH of a polyether contg. a first salt, then adding thereto a compd. capable of forming a second salt, removing water from the resulting mixture, and removing the second salt from the polyether. CONSTITUTION: In a process for purifying a polyether (A) contg. a first salt by adding water (B) and a compd. (C) capable of forming a second salt substantially insoluble in the polyether (A) through a reaction thereof with ions constituting the first salt to the polyether (A), removing water from the resulting mixture, and removing the second salt from the polyether (A) ; the pH of the polyether (A) is adjusted to 2 to 12 before the addn. thereto of the compd. (C). This process is pref. as a method of purifying a hydroxyl group-contg. polyether contg. a salt attributed to a catalyst obtd. by reacting an initiator with a monoepoxide in the presence of a catalyst. A purification product of a high-molecular weight polyether can be easily obtd. according to this process.
