    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a towing hook of a light structure capable of easily performing alignment without causing a cost increase.
      SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of the towing hook, a bracket 2 formed with a screw fitting hole 2a by thread-cutting is mounted on a vehicle, the towing hook 1 formed with a mounting part 1d by thread-cutting in a base part is screwed from the mounting part 1d into the screw fitting hole 2a of the bracket 2, and the towing hook 1 is mounted on the vehicle. The mounting structure of the towing hook is constituted so that an abutting part 1f of the towing hook 1 is received by a bearing part 2b by forming the abutting part 1f having an outer diameter equal to or larger than an outer diameter of the mounting part 1d on a distal end side of the towing hook 1 of the mounting part 1d, and by forming the bearing part 2b having an inner diameter equal to or larger than an inner diameter of the screw fitting hole 2a on a distal end side of the screw fitting hole 2a of the bracket 2. It is desirable that the abutting part 1f and the mounting part 1d of the towing hook 1 are connected by a connecting part 1c having an outer diameter which becomes gradually smaller from the abutting part 1f toward the mounting part 1d.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular bumper unit capable of restraining dispersion of material strength and deterioration of flexural rigidity in a bumper reinforcement.
      SOLUTION: The bumper reinforcement 12 is made of a steel plate extended in the vehicle's width direction, while both the end edges 12a thereof are connected to a pair of crash boxes 11 extended in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The bumper reinforcement 12 includes a hardened area A1 which is shaped and simultaneously hardened under a state of being heated via direct application of electric current at an intermediate part 12b in the direction of the width of the vehicle. Both the end edges 12a sandwiching the hardened area A1 include non-hardened areas A2 respectively, whereas the hardened area A1 constitutes a rectangular form when spread on a plane surface in a developed state.
