SOLUTION: In a piloti building having an open space formed in floors above ground where a plurality of independent columns 6 supporting the building body 5a are arranged, a damper 32 is installed within a dead space 23 that does not hinder human movement spaces in the floors above ground, and the damper 32 connects together upper and lower slide wall bodies 34a and 34b divided via a horizontal slide division surface 33 by means of a steel-made damping member installed, across above and below the horizontal slide division surface 33 and absorbing energies through its shearing strain or deflection due to bending, e.g. a damping member 35 made of a steel material with a low yield point, and the upper and lower slide wall bodies 34a and 34b are respectively fixed to a bottom end beam 8c and a floor frame 29 of the building body 5a.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure and a construction method for a concrete-filled square steel-pipe column and a reinforced concrete beam, which enable the effective utilization of the total strength of a main reinforcement of the beam, and which prevent an opening leakage from being caused by leakage of concrete from a gap between a horizontal hole of the steel-pipe column and the main reinforcement of the beam, passing through the horizontal hole.
      SOLUTION: In the method for joining the concrete-filled square steel-pipe column and the reinforced concrete beam together, a beam reinforcement 5, which is composed of a deformed bar with a screw, is arranged in such a manner as to penetrate the whole of a beam reinforcement inserting hole 3 of opposed peripheral side face plates 2 of the square steel-pipe column 1; each anchorage fitting 6 with a female screw, which is screwed into the beam reinforcement 5, is pressure-bonded to outer surfaces of the opposed peripheral side face plates 2 outside the column 1; a diameter-enlarged flange 7 for reducing bearing pressure and preventing the leakage of the concrete from the opening is integrally provided on the side of the contact with the column 1 in the anchorage fitting 6; and the concrete 13 and the concrete 14 are placed in such a manner that the beam reinforcement 5 is embedded inside the column 1 and on the beam side of the column 1. Each of the anchorage fittings 6 with the female screw is mounted before the concrete 13 is placed.
