    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a behavior recording device of a rolling stock and an error determination device of the rolling stock for protecting data by avoiding read-out disable or disappearance of vehicular behavior data when an accident is occurred and for covering a malfunction when the malfunction of a sensor unit occurs so as to output necessary information during the accident.
      SOLUTION: A computation unit 1 of the error determination device includes an impact-resistant and fire-resistant housing. The computation unit 1 receives an input of sensor measuring values from inner and outer sensor units 2a, 2b that measure acceleration of three axes orthogonal to each other and angular speed around each axis, calculates and records a vehicular behavior including an vehicular defect, and further calculates an AND logic for the calculated result based on the measuring value of each sensor unit so as to determine the vehicular defect such as derailment, overthrow and crackup. A false alarm caused by malfunction of the sensor units can be obviated. The error determination device is provided on both first and last vehicles in a train formation so as to back up data by exchanging the measuring values.
