    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent guide to a position that a driver does not intend by updating and displaying a route via which a vehicle is moved backward matching to a movement position when moved after setting a target position of backward movement. SOLUTION: When the vehicle 100 is moved backward, the route from a current position of the vehicle to the target position, detected by a vehicle distance detecting means 40, is repetitively computed. As the vehicle 100 is moved closer to the target position of backward movement, an image picked up by an image pickup means 60 is enlarged but a relationship to the target position of backward movement is made clear accordingly. The route from the current position of the vehicle 100 to the target position, detected by the vehicle distance detecting means 40 in the process of backward movement, is repetitively computed.
