The engagement-side half part 12 and the pressing-side half part 13 which constitute the lock-up piston 11 are engaged with each other so that they can freely mutually slide so as to be integrally rotatable in at least the axial direction. The pressing-side half part 13 can axially press the engagement-side half part 12 so that a friction engagement part 12a abuts on the front cover 2.
