      SOLUTION: An intercom slave unit 1 includes a dividing part 13 for dividing a video signal outputted from a camera 11 into a plurality of segments by video frame and a number-code applying part 14 for generating a segmented video signal by applying a number and a code to each of the divided segments. An intercom master unit 2 includes: an error detecting part 24 for detecting signal error from a received segmented video signal; a frame memory 23 for display for storing a video frame to be displayed on a monitor 11; and a display control part 25 for displaying a video image on the monitor 11 on the basis of information stored in the frame memory 23 for display. The display control part 25 switches the error-detected segment with segment data of a preceding video frame being stored already, generates a video frame with which new and former segment data are integrated, and displays the generated video frame on the monitor 11.
