摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate remaining tensile stress in the bending part on an outer peripheral corner and to improve the durability of a flat plate by pressing a pressing member against the inside of a corner bending part of the flat plate at a prescribed load. SOLUTION: A lockup piston 21 is set on a jig, load P is added to a roller 81 by a pressing means in the direction of the arrow C and the outer peripheral edge part 85 is pressed against the inside of the bending part 69 on the outer periperal corner. By a shifting means arranged on the roller 81, the outer peripheral edge part 85 is shifted along the surface of the inside of the bending part 69 on the outer peripheral corner in the direction of the arrow D. At this time, the inclination of the center axis 82 of rotation is made constant and an approximate right angle to the direction of the arrow C is made. Consequently, because plastic working is executed in the vicinity of the center (a) of bending on the inside of the outer peripheral bending part 69, it is possible to reduce or remove the tensile stress remaining in the vicinity of the center (a) of bending. Moreover, by increasing the load P, it also is possible to make compressive stress remain in the vicinity of the center (a) of bending.

Each plate piece 74 is provided with fixed parts 75, 76 formed at both end parts so as to be fixed to the clutch plate, a connecting part 86 formed between both fixed parts 75, 76 in a circumferential direction, a spring driving claw M formed at the outer peripheral edge of the connecting part 86, and a stopper 78 formed at the inner peripheral edge of the connecting part 86 so as to regulate compression of each spring.

Thus the extent of variations in the twisting angle can be reduced.

Besides plural projecting parts 21, 21... inevitably generated on the frictionally engaging surface side of this friction member 2, the projecting parts 22, 22... smaller than the projecting parts 21 are also additionally formed in a recess between these projecting parts 21, 21.... When connecting a friction clutch, a leakage quantity of oil infiltrating into a gap G between the friction member 2 and a clutch member 3 can be properly adjusted. As a result, the prevention of reduction in fastening force of the friction clutch and the engaging shock of the friction clutch can be simultaneously performed in a well-balanced state.

Thus, a setup space of the second buffering member becomes larger, so that a high torque, high twisting angular damper mechanism can be secured.
