    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device of which the impact absorbing characteristics are further equalized. SOLUTION: This air bag device is equipped with an inflator which generates gas, and an air bag 17 which is expanded and deployed by the gas. The air bag 17 comprises a fabric body 21 for which two sheets of fabric 19 facing each other are connected with each other by intermediate threads 20 at a large number of locations arranged to be dispersed, and at the same time, in the deployment by the gas, a space between both fabrics 19 is held to be a specified interval through the intermediate thread 20. The fabric body 21 is formed with a gas feeding port for feeding the gas to the fabric body 21. A cover 22 which covers the surface of the fabric body 21 is provided, and the cover 22 comprises a surface material 24 which is fixed to surfaces of two sheets of the fabric 19, and a peripheral surface material 25 which is bonded to the surface material 24, covers end surfaces of the fabric element 21, and can be expanded.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device which can operate surely and store compactly for a car body. SOLUTION: In an air bag device 1 arranged along the inner wall or trimming material of a vehicle under a folded state, whose both ends are connected to the inner wall or trimming material of the vehicle and provided with a bag body extending between the connection parts in a straight line shape at the spreading time, a pressure receiving part 10 with a bag shape with a bottom by the folding back to the inside of one end of a soft cylindrical bag body 6 is formed and in the cylindrical bag body 6, the reverse turn to the inside is allowed at the folding back part 9 and the cylindrical bag body is supported in a ring shape so that the reverse turn to the outside is impossible and the ring shape support part 11 and the other end of the cylindrical bag body 6 are connected to both connection parts. In this case, in the ring shape support part 11, by the pressure of gas supplied in the pressure receiving part 10, an entire length is shortened by the reverse turn of the outside of one part of the cylindrical bag body 6 to the inside at the folding back part 9 and the shift to the pressure receiving part 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hood supporting device effectively preventing careless move-up of a rear part of a hood. SOLUTION: A hood supporting mechanism includes a first link member 20 and a second link member 18 pivotally connected to each other, and a flexible mounting bracket 16 to be fixed to the side of a vehicle body. A front hood is pivotally connected at its vehicle rear side to one of the first link member 20 and the second link member 18. The first link member 20 is pivotally connected to the side of the mounting bracket 16 at a position first distance from a mutually pivotally connected portion, and the second link member 18 is pivotally connected to the side of the mounting bracket 16 at a position a distance shorter than the first distance from the mutually pivotally connected portion. The pivotally connected portion of the first link member 20 on the side of the mounting bracket 16 is arranged deviating to one side beyond a line between the mutually pivotally connected portion and the pivotally connected portion of the second link member 18 on the side of the mounting bracket 16.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood support device for a vehicle capable of efficiently preventing an unintentional lift of a hood rear part. SOLUTION: This hood support mechanism 14 includes a long link member 20 and a short link member 18 which are journaled and connected with each other. The long link member 20 and the short link member 18 have flexibility, and the other edge parts of the long link member 20 and the short link member 18 are connected and supported on the vehicle body side at a position upper than the mutual second journal connection part B respectively. Center rotation 23a of the third journal connection part C of the long link member 20 is offset more outward than the line which connects the rotational center 19a of the second journal connection part B with the rotational center 17a of the first journal connection part A to be disposed. The vehicle rear side of the hood 12 is journaled and connected with the long link member 20. The second journal connection part B is rotated inward at the first journal connection part A with the deployment force of the airbag, thus lifting the rear part of the hood 12.
