摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful zirconia-based ceramic setter which exhibits high mechanical properties capable of functioning as a setter for firing, enables efficient removal of a binder without inhibiting optimal circulation of a reducing gas, required for the setter for remarkably downsized components, when such components are fired, and hardly reacts with electronic device components or the like during firing.SOLUTION: The zirconia-based setter is constituted of partially stabilized zirconia regions having a yttrium oxide content of 2-3 mol% to zirconium oxide and stabilized zirconia regions having a yttrium oxide content of 6-10 mol% to zirconium oxide, when microscopically observed. Further, the zirconia-based setter has a plurality of through micropores, and porosity of 50-99%.

摘要：凍結法により気孔率が50%以上で制御可能であり、細孔のサイズが10μm〜300μmで制御可能であり、細孔径分布が均一であること特徴とする多孔体の製造方法を提供する。少なくともセラミックス、樹脂、金属及びそれらの前駆体のいずれかを含む原料体と水との混合物を特定部位から凍結させ、その際に生じる氷結晶を細孔源とし、その後、凍結体から氷を除去することで得られる乾燥体を熱処理する多孔体の製造方法であって、不凍タンパク質を原料体と水との混合物あるいは凍結体内に含有させることを特徴とする。

摘要： It is an object to provide an aluminum oxide-based sintered body and a manufacturing method thereof, according to which all of wear resistance, strength and fracture toughness can be exhibited to a high degree in a single sintered body, and there is provided a method of manufacturing a multi-layer aluminum oxide sintered body having high strength and wear resistance as well as high fracture toughness, that has a structure of at least two layers in which a surface layer is a high-strength wear-resistant layer comprising isometric crystals having a small grain size, and an inner part is a high-fracture-toughness layer constituted from anisotropic crystals, the method comprising the steps of (1) preparing a layered body by forming a layer of an aluminum oxide material that has a purity of at least 90% and contains a grain growth inhibiting agent and a layer of an aluminum oxide material that has a purity of at least 90% and contains a grain growth promoting agent, (2) carrying out setting such that the sintering characteristics and the forming density of the two layers of the layered body under pressureless sintering become approximately the same; and (3) sintering the two layers simultaneously in a single step, and a product manufactured using this method is also provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina-based sintered compact, particularly a double layer alumina sintered compact which has excellent chemical stability, mechanical properties and the like, and which can highly satisfies abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and also fracture toughness in a single sintered compact, and to provide a method for producing the same and an alumina member comprising the same. SOLUTION: The double layer alumina sintered compact comprises a surface layer and an internal layer, wherein the surface layer comprises silicon, has the same crystal phase as the internal layer, and has an average crystal grain diameter which is different from that of the internal layer by 30% or more. There are also provided a method for producing the double layer alumina sintered compact and an alumina member comprising the same, the method comprising the steps of: applying a solution or slurry containing silicon elements to a surface of an alumina powder molded body or its temporarily sintered compact or impregnating the surface with the solution or slurry; and then performing final sintering. Thereby, it is possible to provide an alumina sintered compact which it highly satisfies different requirements for the surface and the inside of a material, a method for producing the same, and an alumina member comprising the same.
