摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system having reliable multi-cylinder EGR while adopting a relatively simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: An exhaust device 5 mainly comprises a first manifold 21 connected to the first exhaust ports 12 of cylinders, a second manifold 22 disposed under the first manifold 21 and connected to the second exhaust ports 13 of the cylinders, an exhaust control valve 24 interposed between the lower end of a connection pipe 23 and the second manifold 22, and an actuator 25 driving to open/close the exhaust control valve 24. The actuator 25 comprises a cylindrical actuator body 41, a diaphragm 44 demarcating the inside of the actuator body 41 into a negative pressure chamber 42 and a positive pressure chamber 43, a rod 45 connected to the center of the diaphragm 44, and a compression coil spring 46 drawing the rod 45 into the actuator body 41 (namely, always biasing a valve element 32 in the closing direction). 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having reliable multi-cylinder EGR while adopting a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: An exhaust collecting passage 21 collecting exhaust gases from the exhaust ports 12, 13 of each of cylinders and an exhaust feed passage 22 feeding the exhaust gases collected by the exhaust collecting passage 21 to the exhaust pipe 6 side are formed in a cylinder head 10. An exhaust control valve 28 driven by the drive gear 27 of an exhaust side camshaft 26 through an idler gear 23, a driven gear 24, and a hydraulic clutch mechanism 25 is installed on the inside of the cylinder head 10. The exhaust control valve 28 is a rotary valve rotatably supporting the spherical valve element 29. The exhaust feed passage 22 is communicated/cut off by the rotation of the valve element 29. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a compression ignition internal combustion engine, preventing the worsening of a combustion condition by securing a desired exhaust gas amount when introducing EGR gas (exhaust gas) from the other cylinder via a second passage by opening a second exhaust valve in transition from an intake stroke to a compression stroke. SOLUTION: The control device for the compression ignition internal combustion engine calculates a required EGR amount (an exhaust gas amount) to be introduced from a first cylinder to a second cylinder via an EGR special passage (the second passage) in accordance with the operated condition of the internal combustion engine (S18), detects actual pressure in the EGR special passage (S20), calculates a reference value for the pressure (S22), compares the detected actual pressure with the calculated reference value (S24), and controls the pressure in the EGR special passage when a difference therebetween is a predetermined value or greater (S26).
