摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear of an internal combustion engine which can be compactly structured in spite of arrangement of a driven timing rotation member and an exhaust cam. The valve gear cam 25 is provided with a recessed part 39 for surrounding the camshaft 26 and having openings in other side surfaces of the driven timing rotation member 32 and a base surface of the valve gear cam 25 and the decompression cam member 47 and the exhaust gas recirculation cam member 48 are stored in the recessed part 39. 摘要： A valve operating system includes: a decompression cam member (47); an exhaust gas recirculation cam member (48) that is provided on the camshaft (26), and moves between an inoperative position (F) where the exhaust tappet (27e) is released and an operative position (G) where the exhaust tappet (27e) is operated in a valve opening direction in an intake stroke of the engine (1); and a common centrifugal mechanism that is driven by the camshaft (26) to operate the decompression cam member (47) to the operative position (C) in a starting rotation region of the engine (1) and to the inoperative position (D) after the starting, and operate the exhaust gas recirculation cam member (48) to the inoperative position (F) in a low speed operation region of the engine (1) and to the operative position (G) in a high speed operation region. Thus, the valve operating system can exert both a decompression function and an exhaust gas recirculation function.

摘要： An exhaust gas reflux apparatus for an internal combustion engine (E) includes one-way connection means (26) provided between an intake rocker arm (14i) and an exhaust rocker arm (14e). The one-way connection means moves between a non-operating position (A) where the intake and exhaust rocker arms are released and an operating position (B) where the intake and exhaust rocker arms are connected to open the exhaust valve (8e) only when the intake rocker arm rocks in a valve opening direction of the intake valve (8i). An actuator (30) for switching the one-way connection means between the non-operating position and the operating position is connected to the one-way connection means. Thus, an exhaust gas is sucked into a combustion chamber (5) from an exhaust port (6e) using a general exhaust valve in an intake stroke, when exhaust gas reflux is required.
