      SOLUTION: The gasoline composition contains 2-30 vol.% of 2-butyl alcohol and preferably satisfies (1) a research octane value of at least 93 and less than 96, (2) a sulfur content of at most 10 mass ppm, (3) an aromatics content of 10-35 vol.%, (4) a benzene content of at most 1.0 vol.%, (5) an olefin content of at most 20 vol.%, (6) a Reid vapor pressure (RVP) of 55-90 kPa, and (7) a 50% distillation temperature of 75-100°C, a 70% distillation temperature of 100-120°C and a 90% distillation temperature of 140-165°C.

The heavy oil composition contains the fuel oil base material equal to or more than 1 vol.% and has 35 or higher cetane index, 60°C or higher flash point, minus 6°C or lower plugging point and minus 20°C or lower flow point.
