      SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable is constituted by forming cut-in grooves 18 for cutting the upper wound tape on all the ribs 14a dividing an optical fiber storage groove 14 of a slot 12 in the optical fiber cable constituted by: pressing the core wire 15 of the optical fiber stored in the slot 12 having a plurality of optical fiber storage grooves 14 by the upper wound tape 16; and covering the outer periphery of the upper wound tape 16 with a covering 17. The cut-in groove 18 is formed in the axial direction of the slot 12 or is formed by such depth that it does not reach the core wire 15 of the optical fiber stored in the direction crossing the axial direction of the slot 12. The cut-in groove on the predetermined rib among the cut-in grooves 18 is colored to distinguish the optical fiber storage grooves.
