    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an FRP in oven molding using only vacuum pressure. SOLUTION: A thermosetting resin composition sheet (A) formed by stretching a thermosetting resin composition of which the viscosity during the molding of the FRP becomes minimum in specific viscosity, in a weight basis Y (=0.6X-0.8X)g/m 2 , a sheetlike reinforcing fiber base material (B) required in the thermosetting resin composition sheet with a weight basis of X g/m 2 in order to form a composite material with the volume content of reinforcing fibers is 50-65 volume% and a thermosetting resin composition sheet (C) which is formed by stretching the thermosetting resin composition same to that of the sheet (A) so that a weight basis is X-Y g/m 2 are superposed one upon another in this order. Next, a partially impregnated prepreg (D) with a resin impregnation ratio of 10-60% (B) is partially penetrated with the thermosetting resin composition and characterized in that parts not impregnated with the thermosetting resin composition are continued to the inside of (B) is obtained. Further, the partially impregnated prepreg (D) is laminated so that the side surface of the thermosetting resin composition sheet (C) comes into contact with a tool and the obtained prepreg laminate (D') is heated and pressed on the tool to be cured to manufacture the FRP.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition which is stable at room temperature, can be primarily cured at a relatively low temperature, e.g. at 70-100 deg.C, in a short time, e.g. within 10 h, exhibits a glass transition temperature of 150 deg.C or higher when secondarily cured at 130 deg.C or higher, and gives a cured item excellent in high-temperature mechanical properties, especially an epoxy resin composition which can be suitably used as a matrix resin for a fiber- reinforced composite material. SOLUTION: This composition mainly comprises (a) 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin containing a trifunctional or higher epoxy resin and (b) 3-40 pts.wt. heat-curing- type latent curing agent activated at 70-100 deg.C and satisfies the requirements (1) to (3): (1) the viscosity increase when left standing at 25 deg.C for 3 weeks after the preparation is not higher than 2 times the viscosity just after the preparation; (2) after the primary curing at 100 deg.C or lower for 10 h or shorter, the degree of curing is 70% or higher or the tensile shear strength (adhesive strength) according to JIS K 6848 and 6850 is 10 MPa or higher; and (3) the glass transition temperature of a cured item obtained by the secondary curing at 130 deg.C or higher is 150 deg.C or higher.
