摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectionally fiber-reinforced plastic having a high occurrence rate of tensile strength which enables a reinforcing fiber to exert its characteristic even when the plastic is formed by a pultrusion method, a pultrusion method for the unidirectionally fiber-reinforced plastic, and a die for the pultrusion method. SOLUTION: Before the reinforcing fibers F are introduced to a mold 6, the fibers are led into a die 7 having a pultrusion opening which is nearly analogous to a shape of a introducing opening of pultrusion passage 6a in the mold 6 and larger than the shape of the introducing opening. Then, the fibers are introduced into the pultrusion passage 6a, arranged nearly in parallel with an axis line of the pultrusion passage 6a of the mold 6 under the condition that each of the reinforcing fibers is sorted in parallel with one another. With the one-direction fiber reinforced plastic thus obtained, a ratio of a meandering area S' of the reinforcing fibers (a meandering ratio R) to an entire area S of a standard vertical section passing a center line along a long line of the one-direction fiber reinforced plastic having a standard length is 20% or less.

摘要： A prepreg which comprises a reinforcing fiber, a reinforcing fiber base material in a sheet form having a reinforcing fiber, and a matrix resin, and has a portion not impregnated with the resin as a passage in evacuation, wherein the portion not impregnated with the resin is formed by a method comprising impregnating the reinforcing fiber base material in a sheet form with the matrix resin from one side thereof with a resin impregnation percentage of 35 to 95 %; a method comprising placing the matrix resin on both sides of the reinforcing fiber base material in a sheet form in such a way that the portion not impregnated with the resin is present in a continuous fashion inside the base material; or a method comprising forming a resin-impregnated part (an island part) having the matrix resin and a fiber part (a sea part) having no resin, on the surface of at least one side of the base material, in such a way that the resin covers 3 to 80 % of the surface and the island part accounts for 40 % or more of the weave texture of the base material. The above prepreg provides, even when it is formed by the use of the vacuum pressure alone, a FRP which is free of voids in the inside and pinholes on the surface thereof and exhibits excellent appearance.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent a knotlike matter from being generated, by a method wherein at the time of manufacture of a linear fiber reiforced plastic, a thread line is passed through a die in a space between a softening region and hardening region of resin on a twisting side. CONSTITUTION: A substsantially nontwisting reinforced fiber thread line 1 is impregnated with a resin in a resin impregnation tank 2 and adjusted to a fixed quantity of the resin by a die 3. Kinds of the reinforced fiber and the resin are not limited especially and as for the thread line 4 which is impregnated with the resin like this and formed off-line method is used. Then temporary twisting is imparted to the thread line 4 impregnated with the resin by a temporary twisting device 5. In the temporary twisting device 5, at the time of movement of the thread line 4 to the right side from the left side, the thread line 4 on the left side of the temporary twisting device 5 becomes twistable state, the right side is detwisted and becomes a linear fiber reinforced plastic 9 wherein it is under a condition having 0 twisting. A softening part 6 and hardening part 7 of the resin are provided on a twisting side and a die 8 is provided between those parts, through which a knotlike matter to be caused by extraction of the resin can be prevented from being generated.
