摘要： In a vehicle seat that has a seat back and a headrest attached to an upper portion of the seat back, the seat back has an upper frame member that extends in the width direction at an upper portion. The upper frame member and the headrest are structured such that a second distance is greater than a first distance. The first distance is a horizontal distance, between a front surface first portion of the headrest and a head of a head restraint measuring device (HRMD) that is attached to an H-point device seated in the seat, that has been measured by the head restraint measuring device. The second distance is a horizontal distance between the front surface first portion of the headrest and a front surface of the upper frame member that is positioned to the rear of the front surface first portion.

摘要： An actuating mechanism (release mechanism) includes an operating pin (operating mechanism) that is operated by an operating lever, a first link that is operated by the operating pin to release a lock of a longitudinal slide mechanism, and a second link that is operated to release a lock of a lateral slide mechanism. A transmitting portion that receives operating force of the lever transmitted from the operating pin and transmits the operating force to a lock portion of each slide mechanism, and an escape portion that allows the operating force transmitted from the operating pin to escape are formed side by side on each of the links, and power transmitted from the lever to each of the links via the operating pin is allowed to escape during operation.

The frame has a stay portion and an inner portion. A line of intersection between a first plane and a second plane is positioned farther forward than the upper frame member, and a first angle is less than a second angle. The first plane is an extended plane of a front surface of an upper portion of the inner portion, and the second plane is a plane that contacts front surfaces of the upper frame member and the lower frame member. The first angle is an angle between the first and the second planes, and the second angle is an angle between a center line of a neck and a torso line of a dummy seated in the seat.

The side frame 3a5 is structured such that a fourth distance 21d is larger than a first distance 21a+15 mm. The first distance 20a is a horizontal distance between a head 12a of a head restraint measuring device (HRMD) 12 and a first part 4d of the front face of the headrest 4 measured by the head restraint measuring device 12 with the head restraint measuring device 12 mounted on an H-point device 11 seated on a seat 1. The fourth distance 21d is a horizontal distance between the waist height position of the torso line 11b of the H-point device 11 and a front end edge of the side frame 3a5.
