SOLUTION: A heater which can be operated in a high temperature mode and a low temperature mode is mounted in an electric foot warmer. The operation mode of the heater is automatically switched from the high temperature mode to the low temperature mode by a temperature switch at an operating point 3 of a thermostat wherein a sharp drop of the temperature of the heater can be avoided and the temperature change can be brought close to a temperature curve 6 of a hot-water bottle and can be kept at a level equal to a temperature 7 in a bedding in the next morning. The temperature switch is of a type which conducts a switching operation when the temperature reaches a specified temperature and is reset when a connection with a power source is cut off. A microcomputer which stores the temperature change of the hot-water bottle is mounted in the electric foot warmer. With this microcomputer, the temperature of the heater can be adjusted to meet the demand of a user. In other words, the temperature characteristics of the electric foot warmer can be brought close to the temperature characteristics of the hot-water bottle.

Then, oil sagging does not occur any more. The efficiency of capturing the oil is improved and the cleanability is improved.
