    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a container which is easy to carry and clean and which is not bulky when storing or receiving by providing an outer rim on upper edges of all side faces forming a rectangular box, boring a plurality of holes, providing a through hole through the center of an upper part of each side face, and forming a base of ribs which intersect like a grid. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin container has opposite pairs of side faces 1 to 4 and a base 5. The respective side faces 1 to 4 have outwardly extending upper edges 6 to 9, under which an outer rim 10 is provided. Each of the upper edges 6 to 9 is equipped with a plurality of holes 12 bored, while a through hole 11 is provided through a position at the center of an upper part and in the vicinity of a lower end of the outer rim. The base 5 is formed of longitudinal and lateral ribs which intersect like a grid. By thus providing the through holes 11 on all of the four side faces, the container can be carried as conditions require, so that it is easy to carry received dishes or the like. In addition, since the side faces 1 to 4, the upper ends 6 to 9 and the outer rim 10 form a U-shape, strength at the time of transportation can be improved.
