    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and small-sized portable constant temperature generator capable of keeping a temperature in a set optional ultralow temperature range.
      SOLUTION: This generator installs: a cavity part 38 that is a heat medium passage in a constant temperature block 3; a free piston type Stirling refrigerator 2 cooling a heat medium 7 to be circulated to the cavity part 38 to a predetermined temperature; piping 6 connecting a heat absorption part 4 of the refrigerator 2 to the cavity part 38 of the constant temperature block 3 to circulate the heat medium 7 to the cavity part 38; a bellows 52 provided between the refrigerator 2 and the constant temperature block 3; and a control device 9 detecting the temperature of the constant temperature block 3 to control the output of the refrigerator 2, thereby keeping the constant temperature block 3 at a constant temperature.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollen sensor with which the user performs pollen count in real time at the location where the measurement is to be performed, without requiring special skills.
      SOLUTION: This pollen sensor is provided with a light emitting section 1, which projects irradiating light upon floating particles, a first light-receiving section 2 which measures the scattering intensity of the light at a wavelength absorbed by the pollen, and a second light-receiving section 3 which measures the scattering intensity of the light at a wavelength not absorbed by the pollen. This sensor is also provided with an air intake port 13 in the bottom face of a light-shielding housing 14. While the light is projected upon the floating particles in a detection area F from the halogen lamp 4 of the light-emitting section 1, only the scattering intensity Ia of a light, having wavelengths range of 300-400 nm of the light scattered toward the section 2 by the floating particles, is measured with a photodiode 7 via an optical filter 8; and only the scattered intensity of the light, having a wavelength of ≥700 nm of the light scattered toward the section 3 by the floating particles, is measured with another photodiode 10 via another optical filter 11. Then the absorption ratio (=Ib/Ia) is found through calculation, by using the scattered intensities Ib and Ia, and the floating particles having large absorption ratio are identified as pollen.

Then, in the inside of the cylindrical shape, the connector of the PCMCIA standard for instance is provided. The connector is connected to the connector 20a at the lower part 20 of the base part 12. Then, the internal shape of the cylinder is formed in a shape for receiving the lower part of the base part 12 and holding it without play.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to boost a voltage, increase an input power factor, and reduce the harmonics in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: When first and second transistors 11 and 12 are turned on and off, an induced current is carried at an inductor 3, and thereby smoothing capacitors 5 and 6 are charged with the induced current. A first capacitor 7 is charged by a current that is discharged from the smoothing capacitors 5 and 6, and a current from the smoothing capacitors 5 and 6 or the capacitor 7 is alternately carried at a lamp 13. When the inductor 3 and capacitors 5, 6, and 7 are adequately set in their capacity, the first and second switching elements 11 and 12 function as a chopper element, and thereby a voltage Vcc of the capacitor 5 is boosted to apply a high voltage to the lamp 13. A rush current carried from an AC power supply 1 to each capacitor 5, 6 or 7 can be prevented, while the harmonic component is reduced.
