摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a chlamydospore from a mycelial microorganism and to use the chlamydospore. SOLUTION: This chlamydospore 3 is characteristically obtained by subjecting a mycelial microorganism to starvation culture. The mycelial microorganism is cultured in a nutrient medium and a mycelium 2 and conidiospores 1 are separated from the medium. Then, a nutrient component attached to the separated mycelium 2 and conidiospores 1 is removed and the mycelium 2 and the conidiospores 1 from which the nutrient component is removed are subjected to starvation culture. A starvation medium comprises a silica gel as a main material, a small amount of organic substance fiber powder, a very small amount of Mg, Mn, Fe, Cu, Ni, Sn and Zn and a proper amount of water. After the mycelial microorganism is cultured in the nutrient medium, the mycelium 2 and the conidiospores 1 are removed from the nutrient medium, the nutrient component attached to the separated mycelium 2 and conidiospores 1 is removed and the mycelium 2 and the conidiospores 1 from which the nutrient component is removed are subjected to starvation culture in the starvation medium at 5-10 deg.C or 35-45 deg.C while dropping pH 7 to pH 4 or raising pH 7 to pH 9 for 24 to 240 hours to produce the objective chlamydospore 3.
