    • PURPOSE: To highly efficiently treat a metal-contg. waste at a low cost by crushing waste appliances, etc., heating the separated metal-contg. grain in stages in a vacuum heating furnace and recovering the vapor of the metal and nonmetal and molten material generated in each stage. CONSTITUTION: When waste is treated, the waste is crushed to 1-50 mesh, and the metal-contg. grain is recovered and separated. The granular waste 1 is then placed in a jig, introduced into a vacuum heat-treating device, passed successively through vacuum heating and vaporizing chambers 3 to 5 from a preheating chamber 2 and discharged through a cooling chamber 6. The waste 1 is preheated to 50-100 deg.C, for example, to remove water, oil, etc., heated to 250 deg.C in the chamber 3, heated to 660-750 deg.C in the chamber 4 and further heated to 750 deg.C to the temp. higher than the b.p. of the materials other than the iron to be recovered in the final chamber at 5×10 to 1×10 Torr. The separated vapor and gas are sucked into condensers 10 to 12 and gas adsorbers 17 to 19 and recovered.

    • PURPOSE:To constitute the security room so that a sufficient heat insulation effect is displayed by always holding the wall surface at a low temperature, and also, when a fire is generated, water is allowed to flow into hollow wall, door and window, and moreover, the fire can be extinguished by deaerating the inside of the room, and thereby display works, etc., can be protected surely from a fire. CONSTITUTION:In an entrance and an opening part such as a window, etc., a fire-proof vacuum door 2 and a fireproof vacuum window door 4 for closing them in an airtight state are installed, respectively, and also, a evacuating device 15 for setting the inside of a room 1 to a vacuum state is installed, and the fireproof vacuum door 2, the fireproof vacuum window door 4 and the wall surface 5 are formed so as to be hollow and allowed to communicate with each other, so that water can flow therethrough. It is desirable that a means for supplying nitrogen gas is provided together in the room 1.
