    • PURPOSE:To assure the safety of operators and to save manpower by transmitting operation stop signals of a turning link mechanism, welding wire feed unit swing mechanism, etc., and receiving these signals. CONSTITUTION:A building P is provided with a horizontally turnable turning beam 10. The turning link mechanism 20 is disposed between both P and 10. The front end of the turning beam 10 is provided with a sliding beam 30 projectably therefrom. The welding wire fead unit swing mechanism 50 is movable along the sliding beam 30. Both beams 20, 30 are provided with a welding cable C, a power source cable Ca and various kinds of hoses H1 to H3 along these beams. A power source, oxygen, air, etc., are supplied by these cables C, Ca, hose H1 to H3. The operation and stop signals of the turning link mechanism, the sliding beam driving mechanism and the welding wire feed unit swing mechanism are transmitted by a controller 60. The device body 2 is provided with a signal receiver 70 to receive the signals from the controller 60. As a result, the turning beam is smoothly turned at all times regardless of various degrees of the magnitude of the torque.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply move a semi-automatic welding machine to the vicinity of a welding part to conduct welding work with good efficiency in the interior of a hull by providing a stand for supporting the base end cylinder of a telescopic beam in such a manner as to be elevated, and providing a cylinder driving mechanism having an electric motor between plural cylinders. SOLUTION: A cylinder 14 of a stand 10 is elongated to raise a table 13 where the contracted telescopic beam 20 to a designated height. Subsequently, a semi-automatic welding machine is suspended on the suspension part 27 of the forward end side cylinder 26 to set a welding wire W, a cable and various hoses between the semi-automatic welding machine and a cord feeding mechanism 50. After that, a switch of a control board is operated to sequentially operate electric motors 31 with a speed reducer of plural cylinder driving mechanisms by fixed amount each. Whereupon, among plural cylinders 22,..., 26 of the telescopic beam 20, the cylinders 22 are sequentially started to project in the order of decreasing the open end to force the semi-automatic welding machine of the suspension part 27 to reach the vicinity of a welding part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety for a worker to effect a work with the work moving on a steel pipe scaffoldings at which no scaffolding plate is arranged by a method wherein an annular or X-shaped protrusion part is formed on the surface of steel pipes, by which scaffoldings comprise by coupling together the steel pipes by a cross clamp, by effecting padding through welding. SOLUTION: A peripherally continuing annular protrusion part 2 is formed on an outer peripheral surface 1a of a steel pipe by effecting padding through welding to form a pipe 1 for scaffolding. The annular protrusion parts 2 are formed approximately at equal intervals in an axial direction. The protrusion part may be formed approximately in an X-shape. A spirally continuous protrusion or a number of recessed parts may be formed as a nonslip part. The pipe 1 for scaffoldings is coupled, in a cross-form state, to a longitudinal beam 12, by which a pipe 4 for scaffolding having no protrusion part formed is comprised to form a lateral beam 11 for scaffoldings 10. The pipe 1 for scaffoldings may be used as the longitudinal beam 12. This constitution prevents a slip of feet and hands even when water and oil are adhered to the scaffolding pipe 1 when a worker effects a work and movement and raising and lowering, and ensures safety of the worker.

As a result, movement of the welding robot RB to an appropriate position is performed simply and quickly.
