    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient generator capable of obtaining a stable voltage even through high-speed rotation or low-speed rotation, the generator being configured by disposing a permanent magnet in a rotor.SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet type generator comprising a rotor including a permanent magnet, a stator and a rectifier circuit, the stator is divided into (n) phases ((n) is an integer equal to or more than 2) and in each of the phases, (m) pieces of winding wires ((m) is an integer equal to or more than 2) are disposed in series. Totally, (n×m) pieces of winding wires are disposed in the stator. The rectifier circuit includes a plurality of rectifiers in which (m) sets of two diodes which are connected in series are connected in parallel. Each of the plurality of rectifiers is connected with a branch point of the winding wire or a terminal of the serial connections of the winding wires so as to be connected with different numbers of the winding wires connected in series in the respective phases. A plus pole side and a minus pole side of each rectifier are connected with an output terminal via a switch, respectively.
