    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel which can be easily cut to form a required size and recycled (reuse) after use or incinerated without harm against the operators. SOLUTION: This panel 10 is constituted of the upper and lower faces made of rigid cotton sheets 1, 2 and a fiber layer 3 with a specified thickness put between these rigid cotton sheets 1, 2. Synthetic resin fiber such as polyester fiber is used as the raw material for the panel 10. Polyester composite fiber with a low melting point is mixed in both rigid cotton sheets 1, 2 and fiber layer 3 and respective fibers are fused with heat treatment. This panel 10 is cut to have a required size when using it. In this case, the rigid cotton sheets 1, 2 covering the upper and lower faces of the fiber layer 3 is cut by a cutter or the like and torn apart. In this way, as the rigid cotton sheets 1, 2 are formed thin, the panel 10 can be easily cut off.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated headrest wherein a stay member can be fixed to the headrest main body made of a cottony body so as not to shake. SOLUTION: While compressing a pair of hard cotton sheets W embedding the sunk part 31 of a stay member 3, in a metal mold 6, a hot air is blown through multiple air holes H from the upper part of the metal mold 6 to the lower part thereof (from the arrow sign A to the arrow sign B). Therefore, sheaths of polyester complex fiber containing respectively in a pair of hard cotton sheets W melt, and a pair of hard cotton sheets W embedded with the sunk part 31 are connected to each other on the connecting face M. Then, after being left for 20 to 180 seconds while continuing to compress the sheet by the metal mold 6, a cold air is blown through multiple air holes H from the upper part of the metal mold 6 to the lower part thereof (from the arrow sign A to the arrow sign B). This makes the method polyester fiber solidify to fix the shape of the hard cotton sheet W, and the stay member 3 is retained into the pair of hard cotton sheet W through a retaining member 4 to form the headrest 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a seat pad for a vehicle by which manufacturing cost can be reduced by simplifying manufacturing processes.
SOLUTION: A mold 4 in which an article to be molded comprising a fiber sheet covering a cushion material 3 is placed, is clamped and heated by heaters 5. Polyester fiber present in the outer peripheral part of the article to be molded is gradually fused when the temperature of the heated mold 4 reaches to the melting point of a low-melting fiber material. The heating step is completed after the predetermined time lapses, wherein the mold 4 is cooled to solidify the polyester fiber which remains melted, and thereby the cushion material 3 is prevented from being damaged. The manufacturing processes are simplified, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced by molding the seat pad for the vehicle by heating while covering the cushion material 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat capable of reducing the recovering cost of the outermost layer and retaining the adhesive performance of the outermost layer even if it is repeatedly recovered. SOLUTION: Since a hook and loop male faster 2b is fixed to a cushion body 2 side, even when the outermost cover 3 is recovered, the hook and loop male fastener 2b which is several times as expensive as the hook and loop female fastener 3b can be reused as it is at the obverse of the cushion body 2. Hence, the recovering cost of the outermost cover 3 can be greatly reduced as compared with the case that the male fastener 2b is fixed to the outermost cover 3 side. Further, when the outermost cover 3 is repeatedly replaced several times, the female fastener 3b is worn and damaged, but as it is fixed to the outermost cover 3 side, it can be replaced with a new one together with the outermost cover 3. Therefore, the adhesive performance of the outermost cover 3 can be kept.
