摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space saving type soln. concentrating apparatus good in heat efficiency. SOLUTION: A soln. concentrating apparatus is fundamentally constituted of an evaporation means A, the digestion means B provided to one end of the evaporation means A and the nucleate boiling means C provided to the other end of the evaporation means A. For example, when seawater is conc. to obtain salt, at first, seawater is preheated in the primary preheating flow passage 9 of the evaporation means A and the secondary preheating flow passages 15, 16 of the digestion means B and heated in a heating pipe part 3a to be evaporated in a primary evaporation chute 1. Subsequently, seawater is scattered by the rotary blades 24 of the nucleate boiling means C to be subjected to nucleate boiling and evaporated in a secondary evaporation chute 2. Finally, seawater is boiled down in the digestion vessel 11 of the digestion means C by a burner 13 to obtain salt. The remaining heat of the combustion gas of the burner 13 is thoroughly utilized and the evaporation means A, the digestion means B and the nucleate boiling means C are combined to achieve concn. good in heat efficiency not achieved heretofore.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a livestock feed preservable over a long period and its production process comprising the processing of waste liquid of Shochu (low- class distilled spirit). SOLUTION: Mannan available as a raw material for Konjak (paste made from the starch of devil's tongue) is added to thermally sterilized waste liquid of Shochu or concentrated waste liquid of Shochu. Preferably, quicklime and bittern liquid are added and stirred simultaneous to the addition of mannan. The waste liquid of Shochu is converted to a gel like a Miso (fermented soybean paste) by the water-absorbing and swelling power of mannan. The obtained gel has good taste as a livestock feed similar to the waste liquid of Shochu and also has the advantages of good preservability and easy handleability. The value of the feed can be further improved as necessary by adding animal meat, fish and shellfish meat, vegetable, cereal, fermentation product, minerals, vitamins, etc. Preferably, a proper amount of alcohol is added to the feed before bagging to improve the antiseptic effect.
