    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for transportation with a high durability by having a double wall, which does not require a pinning operation without causing displacement of an outer plate and an inner plate of the double wall, so that its assembly or folding is easy. SOLUTION: The box for transportation is provided with: a box body made of a plastic cardboard having a bottom plate and side plates; upper corner members; and edge members. The edge member has an outer piece and an inner piece for pinching an upper edge of the side plate. The inner piece is provided with an engaging part. An upper edge of the side plate is folded to be hooked by the engaging part of the inner piece. The double wall is formed by overlapping an inner plate and an outer plate so that the pair of side faces oppose to each other. Inner tongue pieces are provided to an upper edge of the inner plate constituting the double wall. Notched parts are formed at respective adjacent positions of the inner tongue pieces. The inner tongue pieces are foldable inwardly from its base end. Outer tongue pieces are provided to an upper edge of the outer plate constituting the double wall. In the overlapping state of the double wall, at a position where the bent outer tongue piece is overlapped with the notched part of the inner plate, the bent outer tongue piece engages with the engaging part of the edge member, and the bent inner tongue piece engages with the engaging part of the edge member.       SOLUTION: In the apparatus for welding the plastic corrugated cardboard box, a conveyance means is composed of two conveyers placed side by side, is arranged to cross a block with conveyance surfaces erected on all sides, and has a plurality of welding pins. A welding means moving in a vertical range is placed at a position above the conveyance means, heats/melts an outside surface constituting the angular part of the plastic cardboard box with the welding pins, penetrates the outside surface, heats/melts about half of the thickness of a member positioned inside the outside surface, and welds both together, so that a plurality of angular part planes are welded simultaneously with the welding pins. A width adjustment means constitutes the bottom part of the welding apparatus and adjusts the distance between respective blocks having the conveyance means and the welding means.
