    • PURPOSE:To lower the revolution speed of a basket, stop the supply of mud and enable mud sweeping work by a method wherein a sensor plate is made to touch the mud upon being full of the mud and the revolution force of the basket is transmitted to a revolution switch. CONSTITUTION:On the upper surface of fixed casing 1, a revolution switch 15 and a limit switch 16 to be turned on/off by this revolution are provided and a work shaft 18 is projected from the center of the switch 5 into a basket 9. On the work shaft 18, a plural of sensor plates 19 fixed with very hard chips are fixed at the tip. Owing to the pushing force of a spring means 21, the switches 15 and 16 do not touch normally. If mud is charged in the basket 9, the mud 45 touches some of the plural of chips on the sensor plate 19 and thus the revolution force of the basket 9 is transmitted to the work shaft 18. Then, the switch 15 rotates against the pushing force of the spring means 21, turns on the switch 16, lowers the revolution speed of the drive shaft, stops the supply of mud water and sweeping work for the mud 45 are executed.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an apparatus and to enhance a flocculating effect in an agglutination vessel and the dehydrating effect of a muddy water separator by sending muddy waste water to the agglutination vessel under pressure, continuously separating flocks formed in the muddy waste water, sending the waste water flowing out of the vessel to the muddy water separator under pressure and removing mud in the waste water. CONSTITUTION:A polymer flocculant is added to raw water and this raw water is allowed to flow into a vertical multistage flocculation reaction vessel 25 through a feed path 4. A flocculant is successively put in the raw water in stirring vessels 27a-27c and the raw water passes through perforated plates 26a-26c under stirring with stirring blades 30a-30d. During this passing, an agglutination proceeds in the raw water and flocks are formed in the raw water. Since the raw water is prevented from flowing rapidly, the agglutination can be allowed to proceed satisfactorily. The flocks and the treated water are transferred to a muddy water separator 20 and subjected to solid-liq. separation. Since all the stage are carried out as integrated work through hermetically sealed feeding mechanisms, the raw water can be continuously treated.
