And, fuel in the first vessel A side of a fuel tank 1 flows into the first pump stage from a strainer 16 via a suction port 15 and, passing through a discharge port and the inside of a body, is sent under pressure to a fuel system 26 via a discharge pipe 8 and a fuel feed piping 25. On the second pump stage side, on the other hand, fuel in a second vessel B flows into the second pump stage via a strainer 24, a suction port 23, an inter-vessel transfer pipe 20, and a suction port 19, and is discharged into the first vessel A via a discharge port provided on the end over of the fuel pump 2, thus, carrying out the inter-vessel transfer of fuel.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance detection accuracy, by providing a dew condensation type humidity detection part for condensing dew of air in automobile room under the almost same condition as the inner surface of windowpane and discriminating a cloud state from a detected level and correcting level variation on the basis of the change with time of the detection part. CONSTITUTION:Spaces 2, 3 communicated with the space in a car room are arranged to both left and right sides of the intermediate part of a main body 1 in the thickness direction thereof. A light emitting element 4 and a light receiving element 5 are arranged to the space 2 in opposed relationship and the glass piece 6 permitting the transmission of the optical axes of the elements 4, 5 is provided to said space 2 to constitute a dew condensation type humidity detection part A. A light emitting element 7 and a light receiving element 8 are arranged to the space 3 in opposed relationship and a dew condensation preventing heat generator 10 is provided to the same glass piece 9 as the detection part A to constitute a secular change detection part B. The glass piece 9 of the detection part B is arranged under the same environment as the detection part A and the comparator 23 of a signal processor 20 holds the relative output difference between the detection parts A, B to correct a change with time and a cloud state is caught to enable the operation of a moistureproof means 26.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the effective development of the transmitting and receiving function performed by the same sensor, by simple and small constitution such that the impedance matching at the time of the transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves is controlled by a transistor, a diode and a resistor. CONSTITUTION:When an ultrasonic wave transmitting order signal and the pulse signal coincided with the resonance frequency of an ultrasonic sensor 1 are respectively supplied to input terminals 15, 23, an NPN transistor 17 and a PNP transistor 20 are turned ON while an NPN transistor 25 is turned ON and OFF, and the signal from a power source 2 is supplied to the sensor 1 in a low impedance state through the transistor 20, a diode 21, a resistor 22 and a condenser 27 to perform the transmission of ultrasonic waves while impedance becomes infinite by the perfect interruption of the transistors 25, 20, the diode 21 and the condenser 27 being turned OFF at the time when ultrasonic waves are received by the sensor 1. By this mechanism, impedance matching is controlled by simple and small constitution requiring no pulse transformer and the transmitting and receiving functions by the same sensor is effectively developed.

Though, when the temperature TR of car interior is transferred to an aimed set temperature Ts by starting the captioned air conditioner, the transition speed is a little delayed in comparison with the used of the conventional air conditioner for proportional integration calculation control, the applied voltage VF for a blower motor speedily lowers, and the time in the worried noise of the large blower can be reduced markedly. Therefore, the comfortableness in bodily feeling can be improved markedly.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a wrong signal from being generated during actuation by positioning the vacuum chamber of a sensor so that the vertical distance between the lower end surface of the vacuum chamber and a specific level position of the lubricant oil in a crank chamber is the value obtained by dividing the mean pressure difference between both chambers by oil concentration. CONSTITUTION:The mean pressure PC0 in the crank chamber 18 is negative during operation because of the influence of a leaf valve an the instantaneous value PC1 varies like a sine wave, but when the lubricant oil 20 is above a sepcific level L0, the pressure PC1 does not reach the vacuum chamber 15 of the oil sensor 16, which does not operate. Consequently, a signal which indicates that the oil falls below the level L0 is not generated. When, however, the sensor 16 is fitted newly, the pressure in the chamber 5 is held at the atmospheric pressure and above the pressure PC1, so air flows out of the chamber 18 and its mean pressure PV0 drops below the pressure PC0 to allow the oil 20 to move up in a pipe 2; the height (h) of the chamber 5 is made larger than the value obtained by dividing the difference between the pressure PV0 and pressure PC0 by the oil concentration to prevent the oil 20 from reaching the chamber 5.
