    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film suitable for decoration having no thermal creases in molding, excelling in follow-up property, hardly tearing and reduced in whitening and peeling of a decorative surface.SOLUTION: This polyester film for in-mold molding includes a coating layer in the outermost layer surface of a biaxially oriented laminated polyester film that has an outermost layer with an amount of terminal carboxyl group of 50 eq/t or less and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.60-0.80, wherein polyester that composes each layer contains one or more third components selected from DEG (diethylene glycol), TEG (triethylene glycol), and 1,4-CHDM (cyclohexane dimethanol) in a range of 2.0-10.0 mol% in total, and the polyester film satisfies the following expressions (1)-(4) simultaneously: -1.0%≤a dimensional change rate at 100°C in an MD direction≤1.0% (1), -1.0%≤a dimensional change rate at 100°C in a TD direction≤1.0% (2), -1.0%≤a dimensional change rate at 150°C in the MD direction≤1.0% (3), and -1.0%≤a dimensional change rate at 150°C in the TD direction≤1.0% (4).
