    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved U-shaped channel block allowing smooth transmition of load to its side walls when a vehicle or the like runs on a lid plate, while preventing shaking of a lid plate, and allowing easy construction work to enable an accurate channel construction, and capable of securing a wide area for a flow passage and to provide a forming mold therefor. SOLUTION: In a U-shaped channel block 1, the outer surface 7 of each side wall 2, 2 from its upper side to its lower side is formed as one even vertical plane, and stepped faces 9 serving as lid locks are formed as inwardly and downwardly tilted planar or curved faces. A downwardly diverging flow-passage- enlarging tilted face 13 crossing each stepped face 9 at right or greater angles is formed on the inner surface of each side wall below the stepped face 9. Therefore, load from a lid plate is smoothly transmitted to the U-shaped channel block 1 without causing large local bending stress on the side wall 2. Since each stepped face 9 is formed to project inside of the side wall 2, problems regarding strength do not arise even if no outer flange is formed at the upper side of each side wall, and the outer surface of each side wall can be formed as one plane.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form which is capable of molding various blocks with different bend angles without any additional forms and is of a simple structure and enables an operation to change the bend angle to be performed easily, with regard, to the form for molding a concrete block to be used in the bent part of a U-ditch, a side ditch, a culvert, a retainer wall or the like. SOLUTION: This molding form for a curved block is equipped with an arc part 1a of a length corresponding to a maximum moldable bend angle, a guide part 1c which extends in an identical arc form from one of the ends of the arc part 1a, and a short arc-shaped partitioning form 3 to be inserted into the arc part 1a or the guide part 1c. Further, the short arc-shaped partitioning form 3 has a partition 9 of the same shape as the cross section of a cavity 7 in the arc part 1a, a contact member (a guide shoe or a guide roller) which freely slides or rolls into contact with an inner and an outer arc member each of the arc part 1a and the guide part 1c, positioned on the back side of the partition 8 to hold the face of the partition 8 in the radial direction of the arc part 1a, and a clamping means 11 which fixes the partition 8 at a desired position on the arc part 1a.
