CONSTITUTION:To side plates 12a, 12b of a copier body, a cylindrical drum shaft 4 is fitted horizontally in its longitudinal direction, and to the outside circumferential surfaces of both end parts of the drum shaft 4, disk-like supporting plates 2a, 2b are fitted through bearings 3a, 3b, respectively. On the circumferential wall of the drum shaft 4, a lot of vent holes 5 are provided by a uniform distribution in both its longitudinal direction and circumferential direction, the end of the side plate 12a is closed, the side end of the side plate 12a is opened, a housing 6 is connected, a fan 7 is provided in the housing 6, and the outside air is fed into the inside of the drum shaft 4. On the lower stream side in the open air ventilating direction of the fan 7, a resistance heating element 8 is provided, and by a detecting signal of a temperature sensor 11, a controller 10 controls a temperature of a photosensitive drum 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the operativeness of a collater by providing a buffer tray and supplying means. CONSTITUTION:A buffer tray 8 and supply roller 9 are provided respectively for carrying any excessive number of copied materials or printed materials and for returning the copied material or printed material contained in the buffer tray 8 to a carrying path 2. Consequently, when treating ten copies, each comprised of ten pages, higher in number than that of shelves, first five copies of the first page carried on the copy-carrying path 2 with their copied faces up are sequentially carried to the 1st-5th shelves 3-7, while the remaining five copies of the same page are carried to the buffer tray 8 and a similar operation is performed for each ten copies of the 2nd-10th pages. Thereafter, the buffer tray 8 is lifted and the copies are carried one by one from the uppermost sheet of the copy stack to the copy-carrying path 2 at the inlet of the shelves by means of a feed roller 9 and then sequentially fed onto the 1st-5th shelves 3-7, thereby enabling a specified number of shelves to work as infinite number of shelves.

摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve the simplification of variable-power copy-making operation and the reduction in mis-copy production by collating variable pattern information and paper size information. CONSTITUTION:Plural variable-power patterns 4, pattern-selection switches 5 and pattern-display lamps 6 are provided to an operation panel 2 and the code-read marks RM which fetch out the sized and home position directions of the paper contained in paper cassettes as electrical signals are mounted thereto. If with this arrangement the selection switch 5 of the desired variable-power pattern 4 is pushed, the variable-power pattern is produced and is collated with the paper size information with respect to the paper cassette which the current device has selected, whereby whether the paper cassette is suited for the variable-power pattern assigned or not is checked and when each information coincides, the exposure optical system is moved to the position of the assigned variable-power magnification and when they do not coincide, the collation with the other paper size information is accomplished. When they coincide, the actual selection operation of the paper cassette is accomplished.

CONSTITUTION:In order to detect the length of the longer and shorte sides of an original 4 placed on a contact glass 2, a member is provided, for instance, on the original 4 to read by fitting cursors 23, 24 from the positions thereof. In order to detect the length of longer and shorter sides of a paper 14, a member is provided, for instance, on a cassette 12 to read by setting specified mark when installing. In addition is furnished a control device 27 which sets the magnification by means of zoom lens 7 by receiving outputs from the detecting members for said original 4 and paper 14. By thus constituting, without requesting the operator to calculate the magnification and set, simply by manipulating the button, the original used in longer side direction or shorter side direction may be copied easily under the specified magnification by aligning in one direction, so that the working efficiency may be enhanced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out the centralized control in connection with the instruction for treating the trouble and correcting control by providing an interface nit which can be connected to the centralized control device such as, computer and the like at each copier. CONSTITUTION:In using copiers 1-3, the copy paper size and the number of paper sheets are memorized in copy counters 7, 8 and they are transmitted to interface unit 4 as information. With relation to the counters 7, 8 the information of consumption articles and the degree of fatigue of photoreceptor are transmitted by detectors 12, 13 for the use of consumption articles and the fatigue of photoreceptor. These informations are periodically memorized in the memory 17 or transmitted to control computer 20 via the unit 4 by control device 16. Or in an emergency, such as, trouble, etc. the information of the copier in view is preferentially read to make it memorize in the memory 17 or transmit it to control computer 20. Based on these informations, the computer 20 shows them at output device 19, and concurrently, shows the treating method, etc. by the dispaly output device 5. Accordingly, plural copiers are subjected to the centralized control, hence the labor-saving of control operation can be done.
