    • PURPOSE:To discriminate whether each synthesized information is obtained from different originals or not by charging conditions to form plural images different in picture quality in a copying device for synthesized copying plural image information on one copy sheet. CONSTITUTION:The 1st original is set up on a prescribed position by an original replacing device 1, the image of the 1st original is transferred to transfer paper 10 through an illuminating/exposing optical device 5, a photosensitive body 6, a developing device 8, and a transfer drum 11 and the transfer paper 10 is stored in a storing device 13. The 2nd original is set up by the original replacing device 1, and the image of the 2nd original which is formed on the photosensitive body 6 is transferred and synthesized on the same surface as the 1st original image of the transfer paper 10. The image formation of the 1st original is executed by the normal copying process, but in case of the 2nd original, a net point pattern forming screen 45 in used to form a network point copy or a charging condition, a transfer condition or a developing bias voltage is changed to discriminate respective originals.

CONSTITUTION:A buffer tray 8 and supply roller 9 are provided respectively for carrying any excessive number of copied materials or printed materials and for returning the copied material or printed material contained in the buffer tray 8 to a carrying path 2. Consequently, when treating ten copies, each comprised of ten pages, higher in number than that of shelves, first five copies of the first page carried on the copy-carrying path 2 with their copied faces up are sequentially carried to the 1st-5th shelves 3-7, while the remaining five copies of the same page are carried to the buffer tray 8 and a similar operation is performed for each ten copies of the 2nd-10th pages. Thereafter, the buffer tray 8 is lifted and the copies are carried one by one from the uppermost sheet of the copy stack to the copy-carrying path 2 at the inlet of the shelves by means of a feed roller 9 and then sequentially fed onto the 1st-5th shelves 3-7, thereby enabling a specified number of shelves to work as infinite number of shelves.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the specified scanning exposure to be done by one charging and optical unit even at its forward and backward moving by connecting the charging unit and optical unit relatively displaceably within the specified direction in their moving directions. CONSTITUTION:An optical unit 7 carries a yoke-form engaging lever 19 by means of a pin 18 vertically movably and this lever 19 engages in the engaging recess 22 formed in a charging unit by either one of the engaging pawls 20, 21 of both end parts thereof, thereby connecting the charging system 6 and optical system 7. In addition, the lever 19 is acted with the downward spring force by a spring 23 and is connected to the plunger 25 of the solenoid 24 to the optical system 7, so that, while the solenoid 24 is not energized, the lever is displaced downward by the action of the spring 23 and engages into the recess 22 and, while the solenoid 24 is being energized, it detaches from the engagement with the recess 22. As a result, the charging system 6 moves in procedence to the optiacal system at its both forward and backward movement, whereby the sepecified voltage may be applied.

A reader 33 is arranged on the way of a feed belt 18, a mark indicating the synthesized position entered in the 1st original and a mark indicating the information position entered in the 2nd original are read out by the reader 33, the shear between the synthesized position and the information position is calculated by a control device and the lens 4 is moved in the direction regulator to the original axis to correct the image formatting position on the photosensitive body.

For copying of the second original, the transfer paper carrying the image of the first original is carried from storage tray 30 to the transfer position of photosensitive material 6 on a basis of timing adjustment corresponding to positional slippage operated by the synthesizing position signal and the information position signal. For copying on both faces, the transfer paper with the first original transferred is carried to storage tray 30 through the second gate 31 and switching passage 32, and the reverse face side is brought into contact with photosensitive material 6 to perform transfer in the next copying process.
