摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively take out combustion pressure of an engine as torque without having piston top dead center appear twice and limiting effective operational engine speed. SOLUTION: A motion direction conversion structure 19 is provided with intermediate shafts 22, 23, input side bevel gears 24, 25, output side bevel gears 26, 27. The intermediate shafts 22, 23 are provided with links 31, 32 connected to connecting members 33, 34 of pistons 14, 15, and the input side bevel gears 24, 25. The output side bevel gears 26, 27 are provided on an output shaft 17 relatively rotatably via one way clutches 29, 30 and are meshed with both input side bevel gears 24, 25. In the motion direction conversion structure 19, motion of the piston is converted to rotary motion of an output shaft 17 through swing of the links 31, 32 associated with drop of the pistons 14, 15, and the pistons 14, 15 are raised by swing of the link 31, 32. Further, the device is preferably provided with the magnetic-field generation means 2 located on the side of the casing 6 rather than the side of the rotor 7.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a steering angle ratio variable steering device for vehicles, in which the number of parts can be reduced and which can be miniaturized. CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 16 with a radius (r) is provided in a steering rod 14, and a rotary member 18 is rotatably inserted into the recessed part. A groove 20 is formed in the rotary member 18, and a cylindrical cam 22 is inserted into the groove. A steering main shaft 24 is eccentrically connected to the cam 22. When the steering main shaft 24 is rotated, the cam 22 is whirled to move the steering rod 14. When the rotary member 18 is rotated simultaneously with the rotation of the steering main shaft 24, the amount of movement of the steering rod 14 is reduced. Thus, the amount of movement of the steering rod 14, which corresponds to the entering angle of a steering wheel, can be reduced by rotating the rotary member 18 with the rotation of the steering main shaft 24, that is, the steering angle ratio can be variable.

CONSTITUTION: A gear 16 is meshed with a drive pinion 14 connected to the steering shaft 12A of a steering wheel 12, and the gear 16 is fixed to an end part 18A of a lever 18. The lever 18 can be oscillated in the direction of an arrow mark A around a shaft 20 as a fulcrum. A pin 24 is inserted in the groove 22 of the lever 18. A pin supporting part 26 with the pin 24 protruded is fitted to a relay rod 28, vertically to the moving direction of the relay rod 28, and a motor 30 is fixed to the pin supporting part 26. The pin 24 is movable in the direction of an arrow mark C in response to rotation of a rotary shaft of the motor 30.

摘要： PURPOSE:To change the steering ratio according to the steering angle with a totally different constitution from the conventional one by consisting a motion converting mechanism to convert the rotational movement of an input shaft into the linear motion of a movable member of an internal gear, an eccentric shaft, an external gear, and engagement members. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 12 is operated in order to change the direction of steered wheels 56, the respective eccentric shaft 34, 40 moves on the respective circles around the respective eccentric centers of an input shaft 16 and a supporting shaft 36. The respective external gears 46, 48 turns around the respective axial centers of the input shaft 16 and the supporting shaft 36. In addition, the respective eccentric shafts 34, 40 are deviated relative to the input shaft 16 and the supporting shaft 36 by the distance equal to half the length for the respective internal gears 30, 32. A pinion 44 linearly moves on a diameter of the respective internal gears 30, 32, and at the same time, a rack 50 also moves following this movement. Then, the moving stroke of the rack 50 is increased in a sine-curved manner relative to the steering angle, and is reduced as the steering angle increases, leading to the reduction of the steering ratio.
