SOLUTION: In the heat developable photosensitive material having an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder at least on one surface of a supporting body, (1) the content of silver iodide in the photosensitive silver halide is ≥40 mol%, (2) the binder is a hydrophilic binder, (3) a silver iodide complex forming agent is contained and (4) at least one compound expressed by a general formula (1) or (II) is contained as a silver carrier.
