    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the introduction of a nozzle for unleaded fuel into the filler neck of a fuel tank of a motor vehicle fitted with a diesel internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A fuel-dispensing nozzle inhibitor has fingers installed on a substrate for movement between closed and expanded positions. In the closed position, the fingers cooperate so as to come in contact with a tip end of a small-diameter nozzle for unleaded fuel having a first outer diameter and moving inwardly in a passage of a filling tube to prevent the small-diameter nozzle for unleaded fuel from further moving inwardly in the filling tube on the substrate. In the expanded position, the fingers are separated with each other and expanded to regulate a nozzle receiving opening part widened between the fingers, and a large diameter diesel fuel nozzle having a second outer diameter larger than the first outer diameter can be moved further inwardly and into the passage of the filling tube through the fingers and the widened nozzle-receiving opening part.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control recirculation of fuel evaporative gas to a filler tube, prevent generation of a comparatively large amount of vacuum within the filler tube, and prevent the automatic opening mechanism of a refueling nozzle from being closed at an early stage.
      SOLUTION: A two-stage differential pressure response type of flow control valve(40) is structured which recirculates the fuel evaporative gas to the filler tube when the refueling nozzle inserted to the filler tube encounters a vacuum condition during refueling. In a suitable situation, the valve(40)comprises a pressure-response type valve(42) and a float-operating type valve(44), and the pressure-response type valve(42) is arranged at common housings(46, 50) with the float-operating type valve(44). Then the pressure-response type valve(42) is provided with a valve body(64) having a through hole(70) which supplies a small amount of flow, and is closed in a low-vacuum condition. In a high-vacuum condition, the pressure-response type valve(42) is opened by moving the valve body(64) and the flow is increased.
