The polarizing plate is manufactured through steps of: applying an aqueous solution of a polyvinyl alcohol resin on the surface of the polarizing film 1 to form the primer layer 4, laminating the protective film 2 via the above adhesive on the surface where the primer layer is formed; and irradiating the obtained laminate with active energy rays to cure the adhesive.

The coating liquid preparation step and/or the resin layer formation step include a step of extracting a part of the coating liquid in the coating machine between the reservoir tank and the coating head. The production method of a polarizing plate is carried out by using the polarizing laminate film obtained by the above method.
