摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for air bag device, which allows installation of a decorative member while the mounting stability is enhanced even when the pad body is easy to elongate as it is structured in a single layer consisting of thermoelastic elastomer. SOLUTION: A pad for an air bag device includes a body 11 made of thermoelastic elastomer, decorative member 30, and a wear plate 40, wherein the pad body 11 is to protrude the air bag by rupturing the part 13 designed to go in rupture when the situation requires it. The decorative member 30 is equipped with a decorative plate part 31 to be fitted in a recess 17 located apart from the rupture part 13 and a mounting leg 35 which extends from the rear surface of the part 31 and passes through a mounting hole 18 penetrating the recess 17 to be coupled with the plate 40. To prevent the plate 40 from dislocation in the direction alongside the rear surface of the pad body 11, fit parts 19, 20, 45, 46 to fit together are formed at the front surface of the plate 40 and at the rear surface of the body 11 in a position apart from the hole 18.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device in which the work for engagingly locking a locking claw of a bag holder to each locking hole provided on a pad side wall is facilitated so that a pad can be easily assembled into the bag holder, and the weight can be also reduced. SOLUTION: A bag holder 29 has a plurality of locking claws 38, 39 protruded outward in positions arranged on the inside of the side wall 18 of a pad 14 to hold a pad 15 by the insertion and engagingly locking of the locking claws 38, 39 to locking holes 19a, 26. A presser plate is arranged in a prescribed outside position of the pad side wall 18 to regulate the outward movement of the peripheral part of the locking hole 26 of the side wall 18. The pad side wall 18 is formed of a presser plate non-arranged part 19 having no presser plate arranged therein and the other part 20 having the presser plate arranged therein. The locking claw 38 corresponding to the locking hole 19a provided in the presser plate non-arranged part 19 has a protruding quantity larger than the locking claw 39 corresponding to the locking hole 26 provided in the other part.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a terminal at the time of deburring by providing a coated layer covering an upper wall and a side wall having a membrane switch with a soft synthetic resin, covering a terminal to take out a signal and providing a covering member projected from the lower part of the aforementioned coated layer. CONSTITUTION:An installation member 39, membrane switches 29a, 29b are inserted into a pad 2, and a coated layer 27 of an upper wall 22 and a side wall 21 is formed of urethan form. On a connector terminal where lead wires 30a, 31a, 31b are taken out of the membrane switches 29a, 29b and connected, a connector part 37 is formed as a covering member to cover the terminal in such a way to project from a lower edge part 27a of the coated layer 27. The terminal is inserted into the connector part 37 and moulded. When the coated layer is moulded, there grows burr on the contact part of an upper mould and the connector part 37. At the time of cutting off this burr, damage of the terminal is prevented by this connector part 37.
