    • PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive image transmission device or system by using an inexpensive optical fiber which is easily obtained by adding a function which corrects random element wire arrays at both ends of the optical fiber and variance in light transmissivity due to the inclination of element wires at both ends.
      CONSTITUTION: An object image 21 is incident on one terminal of the optical fiber 23 as a luminance signal through an image pickup lens 22. A luminance signal appearing at the other terminal of the optical fiber 23 is guided to a CCD element 25 for luminance-electric signal conversion through a matching lens 24 and converted into a voltage signal proportional to luminance. Then the signal is converted by an A/D converter 26 into a digital signal, which is saved in a memory 127. Its contents are matched by a matching device 29 through said calibrating operation according to the both-terminal array correspondence of the optical fiber and contents of corrected values of light transmissivity of element wires which are saves in a memory 28, and rearranged and outputted. A video screen corresponding to the object image picked up through the image pickup lens 22 is reproduced on a television screen.

    • PURPOSE:To transmit video image information, especially in a high temperature state, by an inexpensive device, by correcting and matching an array of both ends of an optical fiber strand for transmitting the video image information. CONSTITUTION:Vertical and horizontal bright and dark images of one piece each are projected to a video screen 10 by a scanning mechanism 11, by moving them so as to be orthogonal to each other in the direction of the opposed other side from each one side, and this dark image is made incident to one end of an optical fiber 12 by an image pickup lens 13, as a luminance signal being proportional to its video. A signal emitted from the optical fiber 12 is inputted to an analog-to-digital converter 16 through a matching lens 14 and a luminance - electric signal converting charge coupled element 15 and brought to digital conversion, and it is inputted to a memory 17, this data is compared with an image of the video screen by a comparator 18, and a position relation containing the both end array of a bundle of the optical fiber is matched by a matching device 19.

    • PURPOSE:To cause a reaction for the formation of a thin film on a large-area substrate at high speed by a method wherein a plasma stream is generated by a microwave discharge by electron cyclotron resonance using a metal cylinder equipped with a slit. CONSTITUTION:A microwave transmitted by a microwave transmitter 100 is taken out by a ball antenna 109 via a waveguide 102; it is propagated through a coaxial tube 110 and reaches a metal tube 113 equipped with a slit. A standing wave is formed on the slit; a plasma is generated by electron cyclotron resonance due to a magnetic field generated by a magnetic coil 214 surrounding the metal cylinder 113 equipped with the slit. During this process, the metal cylinder equipped with the slit is housed in a plasma generation chamber; this plasma generation chamber 204 is interlinked with a reaction container 208; accordingly, the generated plasma can be taken out in the reaction container 208. The inside of the reaction container is evacuated by using an evacuation device; at the same time, a prescribed gas is supplied by a gas supply device; an ECR (electron cyclotron resonance) plasma reaction is caused. By this setup, it is possible to form a large-area film of high quality at high speed.
