摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate operation defective, and improve the reliability for a dead face mechanism of an umbilical connector for transmitting and receiving an interface signal between a rocket main body and a ground facility before a launch of a space rocket. CONSTITUTION:An insulator of a receptacle 10 on the side of a rocket main body 1 is separated to a front part 12, a middle part 13, and a rear part 14, the front and rear parts are fixed to the rocket main body 1, and the middle part is set to be movable. A sealability is improved by this to increase the reliability, and a required rear space is reduced, thereby the whole body of the rocket is prevented from becoming larger or heavier.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the fracture or bend of a contact pin by using two insulators in a plug, and making the front insulator movable. CONSTITUTION:A rear insulator 21 implanted with many pins 20 is fixed to a plug shell 23 with four set bolts 22. The external surface of the plug shell 23 is extended forward, and a front insulator 24 separated from the rear insulator 21 is laid inside the extended surface. The front insulator 24 when not engaged with a receptacle 7, projects from the shell 23, due to the resilient force of springs 25 so laid as to enclose each bolt 22, and protects the pins 20. When a plug body is connected to the receptacle 7, the front insulator 24 at the plug side is pushed by a front insulator 28 at the receptacle side, and moves to the side of the rear insulator 21 against the resilient force of the springs 25, thereby exposing the pins 20 to the receptacle side and coupling the pins 20 to a socket 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the internal pressure rise of a cell after sealing by carrying out charge and discharge work prior to final potting, and releasing a gas to the outside of the cell. CONSTITUTION:After an electrolyte is injected and permeated from the injection hole 8 of a cell 1, the confirmation test of an ignition current feeding performance to a fire product is carried out by repeatedly carrying a current of 6amp. per second at 2-second intervals. Thereafter, a resin 13 is filled in the clearance between the cell 1 and a battery box 9, and hardened to form a set battery, a pulse discharge of 4amp per second is repeated to this set battery at 2-second intervals under ordinary temperature and low temperature environments, and further, a pulse, discharge of 6amp per second is again repeated at 2-second intervals. The resin is poured onto the whole upper surface of the set battery to closely seal a hole 8, and also close and fix the cell 1 upper surface. Finally, pulse discharges of 4 and 6amp are carried out. At this time, the gas generation by the pulse discharge is small, and the internal pressure rise is suppressed. Since the charge and discharge test for confirming the performance of the set battery is carried out prior to the blocking of the hole 8, the gas generated at that time is released from the hole 8.

CONSTITUTION:In order to connect a bonding jumper cable 20 between a rocket body 21 and an auxiliary rocket 22, for instance, a cable assembly 1 and an insulator assembly 6 are connected to each other first, and in the separated state of the insulator assembly 6 and another cable assembly 12, the respective terminals 3, 15 of both cable assemblies 1, 12 are selectively connected to the rocket body 21 or the auxiliary rocket 22. The socket contact 13 of the cable assembly 12 is then inserted into the opening part 6b of the insulator assembly 6, and the contact pin 10 of the insulator assembly 6 is connected to the socket contact 13 of the cable assembly 12. Both cable assemblies 1, 12 are then separated by the separating force of an airframe.
