    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a plastic pipe laid in the underground to a gas meter arranged on the ground easily by providing with a metal bellows pipe connected to one end side of a joint and a plastic pipe connected to the other end side, and carrying out piping by covering the outer surface of the plastic pipe part erected on the ground with a protecting pipe. SOLUTION: A riser pipe 10 is formed by connecting a plastic pipe 30 and a metal bellows pipe 40 to each other on the lower and upper parts of a joint 20, the plastic pipe 30 is erected on the ground, and metal bellows pipe 40 is connected to a gas meter. The metal bellows pipe 40 is covered with a resin film 41 on an outer surface, an 0-ring 42 and rubber 44 containing heat expansion graphite are mounted on the recessed groove of the connecting side end part of the joint 20, a metal half retainer 45 is mounted on the recessed groove, and connected to the inner surface of the upper side end part of the joint 20. A protecting pipe 50 is connected to the female screw 27 of the joint 20, the outer surface of a part erected on the ground of the plastic pipe 30 is covered so as to protect the plastic pipe 30 from heat such as ultraviolet and fire.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device for a resin joint capable of preventing occurrence of a thermal welding failure by detecting an abnormality in a temperature sensor by providing two temperature sensors. SOLUTION: The power supply control device for the rein joint thermally welds resin pipe members 2A, 2B by supplying controlled power to a heating heater 6 arranged inside the resin joint 4. The device is provided with a power supply section 22 for supplying power the heating heater, a predetermined current supplying time storage section 24 for previously storing the power supply information regarding the power supply hour corresponding to temperature, a first and a second two temperature sensors 28, 29 for detecting temperature, a comparing section 33 for comparing detected values obtained by the first and the second temperature sensors, and a thermally weld controlling section 26 for controlling power supply to the heating heater based on the comparison result from the comparing section, a detected value obtained by either one of the first or second temperature sensor and the power supplying hour stored in the predetermined current supplying time storage section. In this way, by providing two temperature sensors to detect temperature difference between them, the abnormality in the temperature sensors is detected to prevent the occurrence of a thermal welding failure in advance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a overflow preventing valve preventing an occurrence of a turbulent flow directly beneath a valve element in a normal flow state for minimizing flow resistance of passing fluid, capable of long term usage without causing malfunction of the valve element, and capable of cutting off a flow of fluid without delay in an emergency such as pipe breakage. SOLUTION: In this overflow preventing valve, when a downstream side pressure inside a pipe with flowing fluid abnormally drops, the valve element abuts to a valve seat for cutting off passage of the fluid, and it is characterized by that, during normal flowing, the valve element is supported by a support part so that a part of the valve element covers a perspective cross section of the valve seat and the valve element is energized by an elastic member in a direction separating from the valve seat, and an orifice of a valve through which the fluid passes is composed of a passage sectional area around the valve element. It is also characterized by that the valve element and the support part are composed in a relationship so that a fluid passage sectional area between a pipe inner face and the valve element and a fluid passage sectional area between the valve element and the valve seat are substantially the same or within 10% in a state of a normal flow inside the pipe.
