Air flow bypassing a throttle valve 6 is introduced to the fuel injection part 5 of the fuel injection valve 1 through a passage 7. The injecting direction of fuel spray injected from the fuel injection valve 1 is controlled by the air flow passing through the air passage 7 according to the operating condition of an engine 10. Namely, an air passage 19 is formed in the main body 5a of the fuel injection part 5, at high load operation the air flow passing through the passage 7 is introduced to this air passage 19, made collide with fuel injected from a metering orifice 18, and the injecting direction of fuel is bent.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize combustion simply and surely by calculating a quantity of gas remaining in a combustion chamber and causing main unstable factor of combustion, and compensating the fuel quantity and an ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:Detection values of an air quantity sensor 1 and an intake pressure sensor 3 which detects pressure in an intake pipe 2 are inputted to a control unit 4, respectively. A quantity of remaining gas is calculated, and a fuel quantity and an ignition timing are respectively compensated based on the calculation value. An injection valve 5 is controlled based on the compensated fuel quantity, and an ignition plug 6 is controlled based on the compensated ignition timing in the same way. The engine speed is calculated in the control unit 4 based on a detection value of a crank angle sensor 7 so that the fuel quantity and the ignition timing are determined. The air-fuel ratio and the ignition timing are compensated based on the remaining gas quantity which is the main unstable factor of combustion so as to stabilize the combustion.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent new charge air from its outflow to an exhaust pipe by providing an exhaust control valve in the exhaust pipe and controlling this valve by one of the operative parameters of an engine and by a plurality of signals, in the case of the engine in which fuel is directly injected into a cylinder and ignited by a spark plug. CONSTITUTION:In a two-cycle engine in which air is pressurized by a supercharger 15 and supplied into a cylinder 1 when an intake valve 4 is opened, it is opened before a piston 2 reaches the bottom dead center, thus combustion gas is scavenged by new charge air, introduced into the cylinder 1, and discharged from an exhaust pipe 13. When the piston 2, which passes the bottom dead center, is started to rise, an exhaust valve 5 and the intake valve 4 are successively closed with fuel injected into the cylinder 1 from an injection valve 6. In the engine thus obtained, an exhaust control valve 8 is arranged in the exhaust pipe 13 and closed, at the time of a partial load where purifying performance of a catalytic converter rhodium 12 is important, so as to prevent the new charge air from its outflow.

    • PURPOSE:To improve reliability of control by increasing fuel by a designated quantity when specified calibration conditions are established and calibrating an injection characteristic by a change of feedback coefficient of air-fuel ratio in a system where air-fuel ratio is feedback-controlled. CONSTITUTION:In a controller 6 to which output signals of an air quantity sensor 1, a rotational frequency sensor 7 and an air-fuel ratio sensor 5 are input, a basic fuel injection quantity is computed and the basic fuel injection quantity is corrected according to an air-fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient to obtain the final fuel injection quantity to control the valve opening time of an injection valve 3. In such a fuel supply system, in order to compensate for a change of the air quantity sensor 1 and an injection valve 3, the fuel subjection quantity is increased by a fixed quantity when specified calibration conditions are established. According to the variation of air-fuel ratio feedback coefficient which changes with such increase, the injection characteristic is calibrated.

CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic cylinders 12a and 12b are set up between an engine 1 and a chassis 6, and pressure oil is fed or discharged to or from these cylinders each by a hydraulic selector valve 13. And, solenoid valves 14a and 14b are installed in this hydraulic selector valve 13, while a spool valve 15 is selected by a signal out of a control circuit 18. In addition, a hydraulic setting signal to be outputted out of an operator 16 is inputted into this control circuit 18. Likewise, the operator 16 operates the hydraulic setting signal from each signal of throttle valve opening theta, an engine speed (n) and a transmission ratio nt. With this constitution, the hydraulic pressure in these hydraulic cylinders 12a and 12b is controlled according to a running state of the engine 1, whereby vibrations at the time of acceleration and deceleration are reduced with adjustment of supporting force for the engine 1.

CONSTITUTION:A torque detector 3 is disposed between an engine 1 and a speed change gear 4. This detector 3 detects the torsion of an input shaft between two points axially spaced to detect the transmission torque of the engine 1. Further, there is provided a detecting means for detecting the opening degree of a throttle valve 13 which is controlled by an actuator 6, and the output of the detecting means is delivered to a control device 11 together with the outputs of the torque detector 3, etc. The control device 11 estimates an engine generating torque in accordance with the opening degree of the throttle valve 13, and compares this engine generating torque with the engine transmitting torque. Further, a throttle valve actuator 6 is controlled to make the torque difference zero so that the transmitting torque may be adjusted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an engine stall in time of reacceleration as well as improve economical efficiency in fuel consumption, by performing a fuel spray out of a fuel injection valve in a thinned-out manner in time of engine deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve 5 is installed in and around a concentric part of a suction pipe 8, and the fuel injection quantity is set by a computer 16 on the basis of each input signal out of a hot-wire type air flow meter 4, an oxygen sensor 13, a cooling water temperature sensor, a throttle valve opening meter 7, etc. And, at the time of controlling, an engine speed is decelerated when it is more than 1,800r.p.m., by way of example, and if an idle switch is turned to ON, an injection signal is set to zero, stopping the fuel injection. In succession, injection and stoppage are alternately repeated till the engine speed comes, for example, to a range of 950r.p.m. and under this state, the number of injection times is thinned out much more than the usual. Afterward, at that point that the engine speed comes, for example, to 950r.p.m., it is made into a usual injection state even if the idle switch is ON.
