    • PURPOSE:To provide a structure of a combustion machine and its operating method in which a pre-mixing combustion technology for a high temperature of a gas turbine combustion device and low NOx can be developed and in particular a stable pre-mixing combustion in a gas turbine operating range and a lean gas combustion for getting a low NOx can be stably carried out. CONSTITUTION:A combustion device is comprised of a pre-mixing burner 4 at a head part of a combustion chamber 29, an auxiliary burner 5 at its central axis and a bypassing mechanism cooperating with an inner flow rate adjusting ring 21 to cause air at the pre-mixing burner to be variable. During a period ranging from a starting of ignition to non-loading state, a partial dispersing combustion condition is carried out with excessive fuel for an amount of air at the auxiliary burner 5, a fuel control is carried out to perform an instantaneous lean pre-mixing combustion at the time of feeding fuel to the pre-mixing burner 4 under no load and the lean mixing combustion is continued under a fuel-air ratio control operation of the pre-mixing burner 4 when the load is increased so as to realize a low NOx state. With such an arrangement, the fuel-air ratio control operation for the pre-mixing combustion becomes easy.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain a sharp increase in NOX at change-over of combustion state by a method wherein a fuel nozzle is arranged at the center of a first stage combustion chamber, an air rotating device is concentrically arranged around the periphery, and fuel is supplied at a position in the first stage combustion chamber which is downstream an air back-flow region formed in the first stage combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:First stage fuel 201 is supplied into a combustion chamber through a first stage flame stabilizing nozzle 24, and ignited at an air back-flow region which is formed in a first combustion drum by flame stabilizing air 106 supplied from a rotating device 2, so that a stable flame is formed. To achieve a complete combustion and a low NOS generation, excess air is fed from first stage combustion air nozzles 20 and a clearance between an auxiliary fuel nozzle 25 and the combustion drum wall. The first stage fuel 201 is rapidly decreased and second stage fuel 203 is increased fast so that a diffusion combustion takes place in the first stage combustion drum and pre-mix combustion in the second combustion drum. The fuel 201 is decreased and the corresponding amount of fuel is supplied from the auxiliary fuel nozzle 25. And finally, the fuel 201 is stopped and pre-mix combustion is carried out in both first and second combustion drums. Thereby, a low NOX combustion can be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To permit a stabilized pre-mixing combustion to be achieved even in a high-speed operating condition on a lean side advantageous in the reduction of NOx emission by a method wherein a combustion nozzle is provided on the upstream end of each of the flow passage parts with rectangular cross section divided by the swirl vanes of a second stage pre-mixing swirler and flame holding plates are provided at several places in a gang of small injection orifices formed by extending the flow passage parts in order to attain a pre-mixing combustion. CONSTITUTION:A pre-mixing chamber 4 and a main combustion chamber 5 larger in diameter than the pre-combustion chamber 4 are provided at the head of an inner cylinder 2. The pre-combustion chamber 4 is provided in its central part with an inner cylinder cone 6 projecting from its head and with pipe-like first stage fuel nozzle 7 having fuel injection orifices projecting into the annular hollow part of the cylinder cone and arranged circumferentially. A pre-mixing swirler 8 is also provided at the pre-combustion chamber 4 and an enlarged part of the main combustion chamber 5 and a second stage pre-mixing fuel nozzle 11 is provided on the upstream side of each of the flow passage parts 10 divided by swirl vanes 9. Flame holding plates 12 are provided near small injection orifice passage outlets divided by the swirl vanes 9 of the pre-mixing swirler 8.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the low production of NOx in a gas turbine combustor by making the location of fuel injection variable in accordance with the fuel flow rate and regulating the distribution of the combustible mixture gas concentration and supplying the mixture gas into a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Of compressed air 101 rarefied air 102 from a rarefied air opening 10, a second stage combustion air from a combustion air passage 9 and the rest of the compressed air as first stage combustion air 105, 105', and 106 are supplied into a first stage combustion section 2'. On the other hand the fuel is distributed and supplied by means of a fuel distributor 34 to first stage fuel 22, supplementary second stage fuel 23 and main second stage fuel 24 respectively. The fuel flow rate and the ratio of the fuel distribution are determined by a fuel control signal 300 beforehand set up according to the output of a gas turbine. Ignition and low output of the gas turbine is performed only by the supply of the first stage fuel, and when the turbine is on the side of high output which includes the rated output, it is run by the supply of the second stage fuel. The second stage fuel is a sufficiently uniform mixture with air and burns at a uniform flame temperature, developing further lower NOx combustion.

    • PURPOSE: To permit to keep a flame effectively and effect the lower NOx combustion in a combustion chamber at the head of a combustor by a method wherein fuel is injected at the position of an eddy flow area of head of the combustion chamber and after the air jetting portion from the outer wall of inner cylinder of the combustion chamber.
      CONSTITUTION: At first, the air 16 is introduced into the gap between an outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 5 of a combustor, then, the air 10a, 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a, is introduced into a combustion chamber from the group of air leading holes which are provided at the wall surface of the inner cylinder 5, an inner cylinder cap 8 and inner cylinder cone 6. On the other hand, fuel 17 is fed to fuel injecting pipes 4a, 4b from the main body 3 of a fuel nozzle and injected into the annular combustion chamber 9 of an inner cylinder head from the nozzle 15 provided on each fuel injection pipe, then, igniting combustion is continued by the operation of a spark plug. According to this method, in the annular space forming the head combustion chamber, the fuel is injected effectively into the eddy flow and jet stream formed by the flowing air from the combustion head and annular inner cylinder side, therefore, the stable and low NOx combustion may be obtained by the combination of flame keeping under relatively lean condition and the fuel injection in the more leaned area.
